SOUTHEAST - Vomit on the driver's side door and a driver passed out behind the wheel of a running car gave troopers from the Somers barracks clues that they were dealing with an intoxicated motorist when they responded to the Southeast rest area off northbound Interstate 684 around 3:45 this morning, state police said.Via Taranto.
The troopers awoke the driver, Marco P. Leon, 24, of Danbury, Conn., and saw an open bottle of Corona beer sitting in a cup holder, Sgt. Joseph Lutz said.
Police said that Leon, who was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.14 percent. He is due Wednesday in Southeast Town Court.
