Food grease to fuel cars in California
Supermarkets, cafeterias and restaurants like Kentucky Fried Chicken, are partnering with California biodiesel company Energy Alternative Solutions to recycle food waste into alternative fuel.I'd suggest drilling in ANWR, but the Democrats won't allow us to use our natural resources.
EASI said its restaurant-grease biodiesel will be sold at fuelling stations in Central and Northern California as a blend of 20 percent biodiesel and 80 regular diesel known as "B20."
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, using B20 can significantly cut greenhouse gas emissions and smog, EASI said in a press release.
