Dissident condemns Cuban prisons
One of four dissidents freed by Havana has spoken out against the deplorable conditions in Cuban prisons. How bad was it?
Trade unionist Pedro Alvarez was speaking after he and three other political prisoners were released on health grounds and flown to Spain.
"Imagine what it's like to live in a penal population with delinquents, murderers, unscrupulous people of all types," said Mr Alvarez. He described the high-security prison where he was held as being plagued by mosquitoes with severe humidity.
"They are practically concentration camps, or more than concentration camps, camps of physical and moral destruction," he told the Associated Press.Wait a minute! According to the moonbats this can't be, only the U.S. is capable of mistreating people.
I think we will hear a lot of horror stories coming out of Cuba in the near future and the denial on the left will be incredible to behold.
