Defense Department Official Pleads Guilty to Spying

For who else, the Chinese.
Gregg William Bergersen, 51, of Alexandria, Va., pleaded guilty to the one count criminal complaint after being arrested Feb. 11, the U.S. Justice Department said in a news release.
According to the court papers most of the information dealt with our weapons sales to Taiwan. For more information on the parties involved in this case go here.

On the surface this doesn't look like a case of wholesale transfer of technology or the secrets that go along with them, still a foreign government can still learn a lot from knowing what sort of weapons and weapons systems any future adversary may possess.

Now when are we going to do something about the real intelligence threats to this country working in the CIA and other intelligence agencies who like to write articles for the NY Times and other newspapers?
