U.S. groups monitoring Al Qaeda messages say the terror network has released a video marking the seventh anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. Thanks to The Jawa Report and Ace of Spades HQ for the links.
The release comes more than a week after the anniversary. The reason for the delay was not clear. Al Qaeda announced earlier it would release an anniversary video "that will make viewers happy."
The U.S.-based SITE Intelligence and IntelCenter groups say the almost 90-minute video was released Friday.
They say the video, entitled "Results of 7 Years of the Crusaders," features speeches by Al Qaeda No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri and other leaders, as well as the will of Sept. 11 hijacker Ahmed al-Ghamdi.
