Al Franken's Climate of Hate

The ongoing climate of leftwing rage has spread from the Obamatons down to the state level. Now we have this report out of Minnesota where thugs vandalized property of Senator Norm Coleman.
Vandals defaced the garage at Sen. Norm Coleman's home, his campaign and police said Wednesday.

Coleman and his wife, Laurie, live in the Crocus Hill neighborhood of St. Paul. Graffiti left on the outside of their garage reads: "U R A criminal resign or else"; "Scum," which is written three times; and "Psalm 2."

Coleman is a former mayor of St. Paul, and has lived in the home on a residential street near the Victoria's Crossing shopping area for almost 20 years.

Police spokesman Peter Panos said the graffiti was reported Wednesday morning. He said he expected increased patrols around the Coleman home.

Laurie Coleman, the senator's wife, told the St. Paul Pioneer Press that the family's garage has been marked at least once before, but the latest incident was worse.

"This is just threatening," she said.
I blame Al Franken. Judging by the comments to the story, Coleman deserves this and more. Or, in classic liberal projection, Coleman did this himself.
This is so clearly the sympathy stunt by the Coleman campaign or a supporter. Do people actually believe that somebody who disliked the senator that much would wait until two weeks before the election at a time when Coleman is losing ground and then do something like this? (And reference a biblical verse at that!)

Norm Coleman IS scum. He has more flip flops than VFW pancake breakfast. What's up with his teeth? He looks like Matt Dillon's character in "Something About Mary". I don't think it's write someone "vandalized" his garage, but then again he polluted my TV set with 10 months of bald faced lies. Then again, I don't expect anything different from the neo-cons and their Greedy Oil Party.

Given his long track record of lying, I would not be surprised if he had it done to himself.

It's wrong to assume that somebody who opposes Coleman did this. Based on this article, there's no evidence either way. One thing we do know, however, is that Republicans will do Absolutely Anything to further their campaigns (or retain and expand their power). You might think the idea that Coleman did this himself is ludicrous, but it's no crazier than anything that comes out of Michele Bachmann's or Sarah Palin's mouth. It seems entirely possible (though I grant you, not likely) that Coleman vandalized his own property for attention and sympathy.
