Bin Laden 'Aide' to Be Resentenced, Faces More Time

Why we waste time with our legal system is beyond me. This piece of human debris should have been executed long ago. Instead we go through hoops assuring these animals get "justice," whatever that's supposed to mean any more.
A federal appeals court in Manhattan has ordered a new sentencing for a former top aide to Osama bin Laden, who was convicted of stabbing a guard in the face.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday that Mamdouh Mahmud Salim can face more time in prison than the 32-year sentence he has already received.

The court said a judge made an error when she found that his sentence could not be higher.

Salim stabbed a prison guard in 2000. The attack left Louis Pepe brain damaged and barely able to see.

Salim still faces trial and a possible life sentence on conspiracy charges in another terrorism case. That case includes the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa.
I have to laugh how he's referred to as a bin Laden aide, as if he's some office assistant who helps keep his calendar and meeting schedule in order. He's a terrorist, damn it.
