CONSERVATIVE GROUP BUYS AD TO MOCK OBAMA VACATION — Beginning Monday, Rick Scott’s Conservatives for Patients' Rights (CPR) is spending $100,000 to place a mischievous ad called “Surf’s Up” on Boston broadcast stations and Martha’s Vineyard cable, including NESN’s coverage of four Red Sox-White Sox games. CPR has spent over $4.5 million in the health care debate since March. Female narrator: “The beach is NICE this time of year. But while President Obama vacations, concerns about his health-care plan. … Mr. President, when you go BACK to D.C., drop your government-run public option plan.”The community organizer wil not be happy about this.
