Vietnam War Medal Of Honor Recipient On Smart War

In this interview conducted by Past National Commander of the American Legion Dave Rehbein he interviews Vietnam veteran, Gary Lee Littrell, about modern conflicts. In it he voices his opinions on why we have no living Medal of Honor recipients from our current campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq. Six Medals of Honor have been awarded, all to service members who paid the ultimate price, and he does bring up a good point about how we are fighting a smarter war.

It is worth the 5 minutes it takes to hear his perspectives on the current war and the awarding of the medal.
