'He Wouldn’t Have a Win Without Me'

Who ever figured they'd have an election in Massachusetts and a Kennedy would be virtually invisible? Well, you can be sure Democrats are praying this Kennedy siphons enough votes from Scott Brown to make a difference. Brown supporters, for that matter, would have also like him to take a hike.
Independent U.S. Senate candidate Joseph L. Kennedy predicted he’ll be the kingmaker in a close race tomorrow, saying he’ll likely throw the election to upstart Republican state Sen. Scott Brown.

“He wouldn’t have a win without me,” said Kennedy, a Libertarian running as an unenrolled candidate, adding he expects to draw voters from Democrat Martha Coakley.

A Suffolk University/7News poll last week gave Brown a 4 percent lead over Coakley, with 3 percent going to Kennedy.

Even though he acknowledged his support could be enough to keep Coakley from overtaking Brown, Kennedy bristled at being called a spoiler. Rather, he sees himself as an instrument of change.

“If they lose by the margin of votes I get, maybe next time the Democrats will find a different candidate,” Kennedy crowed.
If Brown indeed wins, it's a safe bet the Democrats won't be nominating Martha Coakley come 2012.

In the meantime, Brown supporters also fear a mass turnout of zombies.
A fast-circulating e-mail yesterday by the conservative Washington News Alert stoked fraud fears, suggesting liberal groups such as ACORN and Coakley supporters could pose as one of more than 100,000 dead people supposedly on voter rolls to cast ballots for the attorney general.

“The ability to vote as dead people is a realistic concern,” said Bill Wilson, president of the conservative Americans for Limited Government in Fairfax, Va.
Meanwhile, Coakley supporters are really running with their last-minute manufactured outrage, picking up the meme from John Kerry.

Weak. Very weak. In fact it's rather laughable for these Democrats to be whining about bullying.

Speaking of which, naturally it's this bully who should receive an award for most over the top commentary.

"In short, in Scott Brown we have an irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against woman and against politicians with whom he disagrees. In any other time in our history, this man would have been laughed off the stage as an unqualified and a disaster in the making by the most conservative of conservatives. Instead, the commonwealth of Massachusetts is close to sending this bad joke to the Senate of the United States."
