Not only did he insult the woman, but she also happens to be black. And he's gay. Now what do you suppose the reaction would be from the Forces of Tolerance if a straight Republican did this? But since we've got a gay Democrat insulting a black female, just imagine the contortions the left will go through to bury this.
A former top state Senate aide was busted after calling a female cop a "fat bitch" -- and then snarling that he outranked her when she confronted him over it, prosecutors charged yesterday. So what do we have when a gay, white Democrat calls a black female cop a fat b*tch? A story the networks won't touch in a million years.
The ugly confrontation allegedly began when Wayne Mahlke -- former deputy chief of staff to ex-Sen. Hiram Monserrate -- stopped his 2009 Honda Civic at a red light at Queens Plaza North and 29th Street in Long Island City at around 9 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities said Mahlke saw NYPD Officer Denise McDonald standing nearby, and suddenly yelled at her, "Why don't you do your job, you fat bitch?"
So she did -- walking up to him and demanding his license and registration.
Mahlke allegedly tried to pull away, but McDonald stepped in front of the car, forcing him to stop.
He then pulled out a New York State Senate "official business" placard, along with a phony, laminated photocopy of an NYPD parking placard, authorities said.
"You don't know who I am -- I'm higher-ranking than you!" Mahlke said to McDonald, a 19-year police veteran, according to the criminal complaint.
He also told the female cop that he worked for Mayor Bloomberg, said Queens DA Richard Brown.
He doesn't, nor has he ever.
McDonald refused comment, but her mom said, "[Mahlke's] stupid. If I could get him, I would do something about it."
"Denise is very nice," added mom Levonia Morris, 66. "She's not loud or confrontational . . . She's very hard-working."
Queens DA Richard Brown ripped Mahlke, saying, "While this matter does not rise to the level of most typical road-rage incidents, the defendant, as a former public servant himself, should have known better than to demean a police officer in the performance of her duties or to be in possession of a forged parking placard, especially at a time when the city is cracking down on legitimate holders of such placards."
Mahlke lost his legislative job in March, after his boss, Monserrate, was tossed from the Senate for assaulting his girlfriend.
A former vice president of the Lesbian and Gay Democratic Club of Queens, Mahlke also had once been chief of staff to former state Sen. Ada Smith in 2003.
Mahlke was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, obstructing governmental administration, disorderly conduct, failing to obey directions of a police officer, and not producing a valid license.
He faces up to seven years in prison.
