'This Kid is Not Smart'

This kid isn't smart? Whatever gave anyone that idea?
Masterminds they're not.

The ex-boss of jihad-loving Carlos "Omar" Almonte, one of two men accused of seeking to kill US soldiers overseas, laughed at the idea that his employee had the wits to be an international terrorist.

"This kid is not smart," said the supervisor at a computer-repair shop near Almonte's home in Elmwood Park, NJ.

"The simplest thing he could not do -- and he was going to do something like [joining terrorists]? We didn't think that was possible," said the boss, who asked not to be identified.
I guess he's never heard of useful idiots. Unfortunately there are plenty of those around. How do you think we wound up with a failed community organizer as president?

Props to The Jawa Report for the mention in the story.
Almonte showed up at the 2008 Israel Day Parade with a sign declaring "Death to All Juice" with the word "Zionists" written in the middle, according to the blog Jawa Report.
