Tsunami to the rescue?
That's what some in Redondo Beach are hoping. Work to remove tons of dead fish from the bottom of King Harbor was temporarily halted Friday morning in advance of the arrival of a tsunami sparked by the devastating earthquake in Japan.
"We are still trying to get rid of dead sardines. But we may take care of this naturally," said Leslie Page, general manager of the Redondo Beach Marina. "The water could come in and suck the fish out naturally."
