Stunner: Democrat Weirdo Weiner to Resign

Imagine my shock.

Rep. Anthony Weiner, his career in tatters after a cybersex scandal, reportedly plans to resign his seat.

Weiner has told friends that he will step down after a torturous stretch where his perverse self-portraits and salacious sexts to on-line female friends were made public, a source told the Daily News.

Weiner had previously indicated he wanted to speak with his wife of 11 months, Huma Abedin, before making his decision. She returned to their Washington, D.C., home Wednesday after an international trip with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

There was no timetable for his announcement. Weiner is undergoing treatment for his sexual problems and is on a two-week leave from Congress.
