I can't wait to see the protest marches in
Albany.
Gov. Cuomo stepped up pressure on union leaders Thursday, sending pink slips to 321 workers.
The layoff notices, including 43 at the state's top environmental watchdog agency, come barely a week after Cuomo alerted 451 workers that their jobs would be eliminated in mid-July.
Most of the workers belong to the 56,000-member Public Employees Federation, which is haggling with Cuomo over a new contract.
Just imagine the howls of outrage if a Republican governor
axed 321 jobs.
