GOP Congressman to Obama: Today is 'TALK Like a Pirate Day ... Not ACT Like One'

Such ridicule of Dear Leader wouldn't be happening if Attack Watch was still in business.

Rep. Dennis Ross (R-Fla.) reacted to President Obama’s plan to raise taxes on the wealthy Monday by suggesting Obama is acting like a pirate.

“Watch ye purses & bury yr loot, the taxman cometh,” Ross tweeted, joking that Obama might have misunderstood that Sept. 19 is “TALK like a pirate day...not ACT like one.”

Sept. 19 has been adopted into popular culture as “International Talk Like a Pirate Day” since popular humor columnist Dave Barry popularized the concept in 2002.

Ross also called Obama’s speech “offensive” in a more serious tweet Monday morning.

“Those who know this sideshow won't create a job or balance the budget don't think so [because] of any [corporation or] millionaire,” he wrote.

The last thing we need during a recession is a backbreaking tax increase. Obama said so himself.
