Actress Thrilled to Live In America Again Now Takes on Palin

Last week we brought you the breathless Ashley Judd regaling how nice it is to live in America again now that The One has assumed office. Not content with being a strident pro-abortion radical, she's apparently also an animal rights wacko and has launched a video campaign against Sarah Palin.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has a new foe -- Ashley Judd.

Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, with a hand from the actress, has launched a Web-based campaign targeting Palin over her environmental record.

In a video premiering on the organization’s new Web site, EyeOnPalin.org, Judd takes aim at Palin for allegedly promoting the aerial killing of wolves in Alaska, and goes so far as to accuse Palin of proposing bounties for severed forelegs of killed wolves.

“It is time to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery,” Judd says in the ad.

It’s not the first time Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, a progressive environmental organization, has taken aim at Palin over the aerial killings. During the presidential campaign, Defenders launched a national television ad campaign focused on the topic.

In a statement announcing the launch of the anti-Palin campaign, Judd says she is “outraged by Sarah Palin's promotion of this cruel, unscientific and senseless practice which has no place in modern America.”

Ms. Judd would look more appealing if she swept her hair up and added some glasses.

Goodness knows, this one's probably also a Trig Troofer.

'It’s So Nice to Live in America Again'

Honestly, I haven't kept up much on Ashley Judd in recent years, or at least since her 27th film with Morgan Freeman. Heck, used to have the hots for her.

Not anymore. She sounds like a blithering idiot.

Among the millions of people who are excited by the election of President Obama is Ashley Judd, as she demonstrated at the 40th birthday luncheon for NARAL Pro-Choice America at the Hilton Washington Tuesday.

After flubbing a few lines, Judd, who emceed the event, stopped and said, “I need to take a breath. I get so excited.”

After a brief slide show featuring Bush and other anti-abortion politicians, during which the crowd booed and hissed, Judd remarked, “It’s so nice to live in America again.”

NARAL President Nancy Keenan, whom Judd called the “Barbra Streisand of the pro-choice movement” because “she does it all," had the mostly female crowd cracking-up during her speech, as she showed a picture of the bathroom at NARAL’s headquarters, which sports a photo of President Bush signing anti-abortion legislation.

Idiots.

Shut up and act.
