How long until the media comes out with a story telling us Obama is more popular in jihadi caves that Ayman al-Zawahri?

Al Qaeda's second-in-command told Muslims not to be fooled by U.S. President Barack Obama's policies which, he said on an Islamist website on Monday, are no different to those of his predecessor, George W. Bush.

"America came to us with a new face, with which it is trying to fool us. He is calling for change, but (he aims) to change us so that we abandon our religion and rights," Ayman al-Zawahri said in an audio recording on the website.

Zawahri said Obama's election was an acknowledgement that Bush's policy had failed.

"Obama did not change the image of America among Muslims...America is still killing Muslims," said the Egyptian militant leader.

Obama has vowed to continue fighting terrorism, and has promised a change in U.S. policies under Bush, who waged a war against terrorism after al Qaeda's 9/11 attacks in 2001.

Ayman al-Zawahri Calls Obama a 'House Negro'

Al-Qaida No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri is criticizing Barack Obama in a new message, calling him a demeaning racial term implying that the president-elect is a black American who does the bidding of whites.

Al-Zawahri says in an audio message, which appeared on militant Web sites Wednesday, that Obama is "the direct opposite of honorable black Americans" like Malcolm X. He calls Obama a "house negro."

The audio plays over still pictures of al-Zawahri, Malcolm X praying, and Obama with Jewish leaders.

I doubt taunting Obama will do much good, and I'll be leading the cheers if this scumbag al-Zawahri gets whacked while Obama is president.

From an intelligence standpoint, it’s interesting. The undisguised racism of the message (Zawahiri refers to Obama as a “house negro”) reveals a sloppy desperation on the part of al Qaeda. The organization used to be disciplined about their messages, playing on what they perceived as the sympathies of the American public. American member Adam Gadahn took to peppering Western bound Qaeda communiqués with liberal talking points in hopes of re-channeling domestic Bush-hatred. But insulting America’s widely-beloved President-elect for not being the right kind of black person isn’t going to get Zawahiri much support in the U.S., especially now, in the election’s afterglow. A wiser approach would have been to praise subtley America’s choice for change, and thereby play on a war-weary public to press for a less militaristic foreign policy. Think that’s crazy? A few months ago, all Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had to do to get Nancy Pelosi to see a diplomatic “opening” was go on TV and praise America’s “new behavior.” Western countries are cheap dates, as far as that kind of pandering is concerned.

Al Qaeda Clowns Release Special 9/11 Anniversary Video ... Eight Days Late

If you ask me, this is a sure sign Burger Boy Adam Gadahn is being munched on by worms somewhere underneath Waziristan rubble.

U.S. groups monitoring Al Qaeda messages say the terror network has released a video marking the seventh anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

The release comes more than a week after the anniversary. The reason for the delay was not clear. Al Qaeda announced earlier it would release an anniversary video "that will make viewers happy."

The U.S.-based SITE Intelligence and IntelCenter groups say the almost 90-minute video was released Friday.

They say the video, entitled "Results of 7 Years of the Crusaders," features speeches by Al Qaeda No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri and other leaders, as well as the will of Sept. 11 hijacker Ahmed al-Ghamdi.

Zawarhi Urges Gaza Holy War, Declines Obama Endorsement

Al-Qaida's top deputy Ayman al-Zawahri called on Muslims to launch holy war to break the siege of Gaza, in a new audio recording posted Wednesday on a militant Web site.

In the 11-minute recording, a voice purportedly by Osama bin Laden's deputy spoke in Arabic and said the "salvation of the Muslim nation is through the march of its sons on the path of jihad."

An accompanying banner said the message was issued to mark the 41st anniversary of the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, when over a period of six days from June 5, Israeli warplanes destroyed 400 aircraft belonging to Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Iraq — most of them sitting on airport tarmacs.

Egypt lost the Sinai Peninsula and Gaza Strip; Syria lost the Golan Heights and Jordan lost the West Bank and east Jerusalem. Trying to minimize the shock and pain of the defeat, Arabs have long called the Six Day War the "naksa" — or "setback" in Arabic — but its impact remains a deep wound.

In al-Zawahri's recording, entitled "In Memory of the Naksa... Break the Siege of Gaza," the al-Qaida deputy blamed Arab regimes for Arabs' 1967 debacle. Al-Zawahri said the Arab governments were "impotent and unable to protect the Muslim nation, its sanctuaries and its wealth."

"The sons of the nation should break the shackles of the treacherous regimes and move to wage jihad which has become a duty," al-Zawahri said, referring to holy war.

His message seemed especially directed at the militant Hamas Palestinian group which last June seized power in the coastal strip of Gaza from the more moderate supporters of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who were left in control of the West Bank as bloody inter-Palestinian clashes effectively split Palestinian territories in two.

Speaking of Hamas, it appears they've rescinded their endorsement of The Wizard of Uhhhs. Probably doesn't matter. John McCain would've been too high-minded to use that bash his opponent. Doesn't want to get the media mad at him.

'I Felt That My Heart Was About to Explode in My Chest...I Am Powerless'

Muslim extremist women are challenging al-Qaida's refusal to include — or at least acknowledge — women in its ranks, in an emotional debate that gives rare insight into the gender conflicts lurking beneath one of the strictest strains of Islam.

In response to a female questioner, al-Qaida No. 2 leader Ayman Al-Zawahri said in April that the terrorist group does not have women. A woman's role, he said on the Internet audio recording, is limited to caring for the homes and children of al-Qaida fighters.

What cavemen. Just imagine if a Westerner dared uttered such a contemptuous statement.

His remarks have since prompted an outcry from fundamentalist women, who are fighting or pleading for the right to be terrorists. The statements have also created some confusion, because in fact suicide bombings by women seem to be on the rise, at least within the Iraq branch of al-Qaida.

A'eeda Dahsheh is a Palestinian mother of four in Lebanon who said she supports al-Zawahri and has chosen to raise children at home as her form of jihad. However, she said, she also supports any woman who chooses instead to take part in terror attacks.

Another woman signed a more than 2,000-word essay of protest online as Rabeebat al-Silah, Arabic for "Companion of Weapons."

"How many times have I wished I were a man ... When Sheikh Ayman al-Zawahri said there are no women in al-Qaida, he saddened and hurt me," wrote "Companion of Weapons," who said she listened to the speech 10 times. "I felt that my heart was about to explode in my chest...I am powerless."

Such postings have appeared anonymously on discussion forums of Web sites that host videos from top al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden. While the most popular site requires names and passwords, many people use only nicknames, making their identities and locations impossible to verify.

However, groups that monitor such sites say the postings appear credible because of the knowledge and passion they betray. Many appear to represent computer-literate women arguing in the most modern of venues — the Internet — for rights within a feudal version of Islam.

"Women were very disappointed because what al-Zawahri said is not what's happening today in the Middle East, especially in Iraq or in Palestinian groups," said Rita Katz, director of the SITE Intelligence Group, an organization that monitors militant Web sites. "Suicide operations are being carried out by women, who play an important role in jihad."

It's not clear how far women play a role in al-Qaida because of the group's amorphous nature.

Terrorism experts believe there are no women in the core leadership ranks around bin Laden and al-Zawahri. But beyond that core, al-Qaida is really a movement with loosely linked offshoots in various countries and sympathizers who may not play a direct role. Women are clearly among these sympathizers, and some are part of the offshoot groups.

In the Iraq branch, for example, women have carried out or attempted at least 20 suicide bombings since 2003. Al-Qaida members suspected of training women to use suicide belts were captured in Iraq at least three times last year, the U.S. military has said.

Hamas, another militant group, is open about using women fighters and disagrees with al-Qaida's stated stance. At least 11 Palestinian women have launched suicide attacks in recent years.

"A lot of the girls I speak to ... want to carry weapons. They live with this great frustration and oppression," said Huda Naim, a prominent women's leader, Hamas member and Palestinian lawmaker in Gaza. "We don't have a special militant wing for women ... but that doesn't mean that we strip women of the right to go to jihad."

They live with frustration and oppression? Really? Who is it oppressing them?

Osama bin Laden's chief deputy on Tuesday denied a theory that Israel carried out the Sept. 11 attacks and blamed Iran and Shiite Hezbollah for spreading the idea to discredit the Sunni al-Qaida's strike against the U.S.

The comments in a recording posted on an Islamic Web site reflected the increasing criticism by al-Qaida's No. 2 leader Ayman al-Zawahri against Iran. Al-Zawahri has accused Iran in recent messages of seeking to extend its power in the Middle East, particularly in Iraq and through its Hezbollah allies in Lebanon.

The authenticity of the two-hour audio recording could not be independently confirmed. But the voice sounded like past audiotapes from the terror leader, and the posting where it was found bore the logo of Al-Sahab, al-Qaida's official media arm.

It was the second of two messages answering questions that were posted to Islamic militant Web sites earlier this year.

One of the questioners asked about the theory that has circulated in the Middle East and elsewhere that Israel was behind the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Al-Zawahri accused Hezbollah's Al-Manar television of starting the rumor.

"The purpose of this lie is clear — (to suggest) that there are no heroes among the Sunnis who can hurt America as no else did in history. Iranian media snapped up this lie and repeated it," he said.

"Iran's aim here is also clear — to cover up its involvement with America in invading the homes of Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq," he said.

Huh? I think this moron has spent a bit too much time in his cave.

In a nod to Earth Day, he also worships at the altar of Algore.

Al-Zawahri spoke on a wide range of issues, even global warming, which he said reflected "how criminal, brutal and greedy the Western Crusader world is, with America at the top."

He predicted that global warming would "make the world more sympathetic to and understanding of the Muslims' jihad against the aggressor America."

That's certainly a way to keep the American left on his side.

Saudis Round Up AQ Suspects

They always make a nice show of rounding up Al Qaeda suspects.

Too bad they keep exporting these monsters abroad.

Saudi Arabia said on Monday it had arrested 28 people suspected of seeking to regroup al Qaeda's wing in the oil-exporting kingdom to carry out a "terror campaign".

The official Saudi Press Agency said those detained were part of a total of 56 suspects arrested in a drive to round up Qaeda members in recent months, and "belonged to the deviant group (al Qaeda) ... and received directions to rebuild the group and start a terror campaign in the kingdom".

The suspects were using a recording from al Qaeda's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahri to help raise money from ordinary Saudis, SPA said, citing a source in the ministry of interior.

"The bearer of this message is one of our trusted brothers, therefore please give him your donations for hundreds of the families of captives and martyrs in Pakistan and Afghanistan," Zawahri said in the audio recording aired by state television.

SPA said the recording was brought into the kingdom via the mobile telephone of a "person who had visited Mecca".

The U.S.-allied Muslim kingdom detained 28 Qaeda militants in Mecca, Madina, Riyadh and an area near the country's northern borders in December.

They'll probably wind up be treated more kindly than rape victims.

Al-Qaeda's No.2 wants to hear from you

AL-QAEDA sympathisers have been asked to send in their questions for the terror network's second in command, which he will then answer in an online interview next month.

The bizarre stunt was announced in a new video posted on the internet in which al-Qaeda's number two, Ayman al-Zawahri, mocked today's British handover of security in southern Iraq to local forces as a sign that insurgents are gaining the upper hand.

The video, carried by Islamic websites, was issued as Britain handed over security to Iraqi forces in the last of four provinces it once patrolled, effectively marking the end of nearly five years of British control of southern Iraq.

The websites invited readers to send in questions during the next month for Zawahri to answer in an "open interview".

"Reports from Iraq point to the increasing power of the mujahideen and the deteriorating condition of the Americans," Zawahri told an off-camera interviewer from As-Sahab, al-Qaeda's media arm.

"And the decision of the British to flee is sufficient (proof of this)," he said, sitting beside shelves full of books.

"Iraq is the most important of the fields (in which Islamic militants are fighting)," Zawahri said on the video, which carried English subtitles.

The video carried footage of insurgent videos and from television news stations, including a segment showing critical remarks about the US strategy in Iraq by Ricardo Sanchez, former top US commander in Iraq.

Zawahri dismissed optimistic remarks made by current US officials: "Either the American administration is lying outrageously ... or the Americans have not learned anything from four years of war ... as they did not learn from their defeat in Vietnam."

Defeatists like Dingy Harry Reid should swell with pride.

Al-Zawarhi Threatens Libya

This is getting comical.

Now cave-dwelling psychopath Ayman al-Zawahri is issuing threats to another psychopath, Moammar Gadhafi.

All is no rosy in Islamofascist circles.

Al-Qaida's No. 2 figure harshly criticized Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi in a new audio tape Saturday, accusing him of being an enemy of Islam and threatening a wave of attacks against the North African country because it improved relations with the U.S.

In the 28-minute audio tape called "Unity of the Ranks," Ayman al-Zawahri also announced that the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group was joining ranks with al-Qaida.

"The Islamic nation is witnessing a blessed step ... The brothers are escalating the confrontation against the enemies of Islam: Gadhafi and his masters, the Washington crusaders," al-Zawahri said in the audio tape. The recording could not be independently verified, but it appeared on a Web site commonly used by insurgents and carried the logo of al-Qaida's media production house, as-Sahab.

The recording also carried a message from Abu Laith al-Libi, a Libyan al-Qaida commander in Afghanistan who accused Gadhafi of decades of tyranny.

"He is the tyranny of Libya and is dragging the country to the swamp," al-Libi said in the recording that also featured old video footage of him walking with other masked gunmen.

"After long years, he (Gadhafi) discovered suddenly that America is not an enemy ... and is turning Libya into another crusader base," said al-Libi, who has appeared in several recent al-Qaida videos.
