Environmental Wacko Sentenced For Attempted Firebombing

I blame Al Gore for this leftist culture of violence.

A Texas man who tried to firebomb a condominium development under construction in Pasadena has been sentenced to five years in federal prison.

Prosecutors say 44-year-old Stephen Murphy apologized to the court and to his fiancee Monday before he was sentenced in federal court in Los Angeles.

He pleaded guilty in January to conspiring with another member of the environmental extremist movement Earth Liberation Front to burn down the multimillion-dollar condos with a juice bottle containing gasoline in 2006. The timer attached to the bomb failed.

So due to his incompetence he lucks out and gets only five years.

He should get an additional five for eating tofurky.

Radical Left Terror Group Creates More Green Jobs

Probably won't be long before we find Van Jones is a member of ELF. Just think how many "green jobs" will be created to repair the damage.

Two radio station towers near Seattle that have generated intense local opposition were toppled early Friday in an act of sabotage that bore the initials of the radical Earth Liberation Front.

An e-mail from the North American ELF Press Office, which has represented the shadowy group in the past, says the towers for KRKO-AM were torn down because of health and environmental concerns. Authorities say a banner that bore the initials of the ELF was left at the scene.

Lora Lee, a spokeswoman for KRKO owner and general manager Andy Skotdal, says Skotdal doesn't have an immediate damage estimate.

Skotdal says KRKO remains on the air and will continue to broadcast using a back-up transmitter until the original towers are once again operational.

Yes, indeed, these leftwing terrorists actually have a press office.
