The founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, was exposed as a fraud 30 years ago by British diplomats who were investigating his qualifications.A lot of folks belong to Scientology, what the Europeans classify as a cult, namely Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and Greta Van Sustern. The British have known for quite a while that the founder, L Ron Hubbard, is a fraud. Back in the 70's they conducted a background check on him and discovered that the degrees that he professed to have were in fact awarded from a university that he and some of his followers founded and then awarded to themselves.
Look I feel for the people who followed this organization, heck I used to be an Episcopalian, the religion that endorses gay clergy and had one of their ministers also embrace Islam and go around saying the two were compatible, so I know what it can be like when years of believing in a certain view in your spiritual life comes crashing down, but that is what is happening here.
Look I ain't got nothing against Scientologists personally, I just think anybody who is entertaining joining and those who already belong really need to reevaluate their relationship with the group.
