Grim Jobs Numbers Coming? Summers Blames Winter

These Obama hacks are now reduced to blaming snowstorms for what will likely be more "unexpected" bad jobs numbers later this week.

Just pathetic.
White House economic adviser Larry Summers said on Monday winter blizzards were likely to distort U.S. February jobless figures, which are due to be released on Friday.

"The blizzards that affected much of the country during the last month are likely to distort the statistics. So it's going to be very important ... to look past whatever the next figures are to gauge the underlying trends," Summers said in an interview with CNBC, according to a transcript.

Construction activity was hit particularly hard by the storms, but many restaurants and stores also had to close, putting the brakes on hiring plans and temporarily throwing some employees out of work.
So now if some stores had to close for a day that put brakes on hiring plans? Who the hell does he think he's kidding?

Now if by happenstance the numbers were to go down would Summers urge us to look past those numbers?

Next thing you know some idiot will tell us those snowstorms were a result of mythical global warming.

Obama Economic Adviser Bemoans 'Excess of Fear'

You've got to be kidding me. Hey, Larry, go talk to your boss about the excessive fear.
President Barack Obama's top economic adviser said Friday the nation's economic crisis has led to an "excess of fear" among Americans that must be broken to reverse the downturn.

"Fear begets fear," Lawrence Summers, the president's director of the National Economic Council, told a forum.
Uh, who's been the one preaching fear?
"It is this transition from an excess of greed to an excess of fear that President Roosevelt had in mind when he famously observed that the only thing we had to fear was fear itself," Summers said. "It is this transition that has happened in the United States today."
So in order to tell people to not be fearful, he invokes the president from the Depression.

I fear these people have no clue.

Just yesterday, after two years of fearmongering, Obama realized such a purposeful strategy to instill fear had probably worked all to well and perhaps too many people were living in fear. Funny how that works.

On cue, the markets are dipping today after Obama opened his piehole.

Novel suggestion: How about shutting up?
