But Government Run Healthcare Will Be Different

In yet just another example of government ineffiency, a lot of the Census forms being sent out to residents of Georgia have the wrong address on them. The Census bureau tells us it is nothing to worry about. Don't correct them. It is fine. Trust us.

It is more then a few isolated incidents here in Georgia too. One of the local news shows did a piece on this and reported on just how wide spread this problem is.

If you got a 2010 Census form – but your city or and zip code is wrong or missing – fill out the form and send it in to the U.S. Census Bureau anyway, Henry County officials said Wednesday.

Don’t cross anything out or write in the correct city name. And, don’t cross out the bar code; that’s what the U.S. Census Bureau uses to match up each house with the correct city or town, officials said.

County officials sent out an alert after a number of people have called saying they’ve received a Census form but the city and zip code don’t match where their house is physically located. The Census form says “McDonough,” for example, but they live in a town just outside.

The U.S. Census Bureau basically did this to make it easier to mail the more than 120 million forms out earlier this month, Henry County officials said.

Now the sinister side of me, who has begun distrust everything coming out of our Imperial Federal Government, and now questions the real motivation behind anything they do, wonders why millions of dollars was spent on an advertising campaign telling us how important this census was would send out census forms with the wrong address.

Bear in mind these results are what is used to determine your congressional representation, distribution of tax dollars, and for a hundred other uses. So why would you send out census forms that had incorrect data and not want them corrected?

They even tell us that don't worry about it since it is the bar code that matters. Can you assure me that that bar code accurately reflects the correct information? How do I know that a census form filled out for Woodstock, GA isn't being credited to Woodstock, NY? Might make a difference in which states gain seats in congress and which ones lose seats now might it?

Remember earlier this year Obama tried to wrestle control of the Census away from the agency tasked with conducting this audit. For me it isn't a far stretch for them to be applying Chicago style tactics on a national scale, and we have plenty of evidence of this administration doing just that.

Where Census Workers Fear To Tread

Some areas are ramping up efforts ahead of the census count this year, citing being undercounted in previous censuses. Well, there might be a reason for that.

On Wednesday, the county’s census committee announced three caravans to make sure residents in low-income neighborhoods are counted. The caravans – a parade of about 30 cars led by police – will ride through three sections of the county on March 13, 20 and 27 to let residents know about the census, Stokes said.

If you need a police escort just to travel the streets that just might explain why some people weren't counted.

I guess those snazzy census commercials are just another waste of money, huh?

Death of Census Worker May Be Suicide

Remember that census worker who was found dead in a rural area of Kentucky, and all the loony left libtards trumpeted it is as a bunch of redneck neocons lynching him egged on by the likes of Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck and the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy? Well, let's see how long it takes them to run with the recent revelations to come out of the investigation.

Investigators trying to solve the mystery of a census taker found hanging from a tree with the word "fed" scrawled on his chest are examining whether he manipulated the scene in order to conceal a suicide and make a life insurance claim possible for his son, law enforcement officials told The Associated Press.

I'm not holding my breath, because I know just like all of the phony noose stories, all we will hear from them is silence.

Census Bureau Boots Obama's Pals From ACORN

After a second embarrassing revelation of pimping today, the U.S. Census Bureau is severing ties with the criminal enterprise known as ACORN.

I saw Bret Baier note this on FNC a few minutes ago and the story is developing. I know Glenn Beck has been hammering away at the absurdity of the outfit working on the census, so this will make it a third triumph for him over Obama in less than a week.

The Census Director has sent a letter to the National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that the Census Bureau is severing all ties with the community organizing group for all work having to do with the 2010 census. ACORN had previously been tapped to help with low level data gathering. A copy of the Director's letter has been sent to Congress and relevant committees, as well as ACORN.

This latest news comes as two more ACORN officials were fired Friday after a second video surfaced showing staffers in the community organizers' Washington office offering to help a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute acquire illegal home loans that would help them set up a brothel.

The firings came less than 24 hours after another pair of ACORN officials from the group's Baltimore office were canned for instructing the "pimp" and "prostitute" how to falsify tax forms and seek illegal benefits for 13 "very young" girls from El Salvador that pair said they wanted to import to work as child prostitutes.

Both of the encounters were videotaped on a hidden camera wielded by 25-year-old independent filmmaker James O'Keefe, posing as the pimp — tapes that have ignited calls for investigations of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

The group's leaders said Friday they were "appalled and angry" at what their staffers had done, but insisted the videos were part of a political "smear" campaign and not representative of the institution as a whole.
