Wacky Paki: 9/11 a Brainchild of the Jews

It's a typical disjointed piece appearing in The Tehran Times. Just makes the outlandish statement as if it's a fact, but offers no evidence.

Those Jews are very wily. They just make it happen and we never quite find out how or why.

9/11 was a brainchild of Jews: Pakistan minister
ISLAMABAD (DAWN) -- Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Sher Afgan Niazi on Tuesday said that events which followed the 9/11 incident proved that it was the brainchild of Jews.

He condemned recently-passed U.S. legislation and the derogatory statements about Pakistan made by some American presidential candidates.
Not sure what "events" this moron is referring to. Must be some inside information we're not privy to. As for the presidential candidates, it's safe to say he's talking about the junior senator from Illinois.
The minister also roundly criticized Pakistan’s foreign policy, describing it as one of appeasement at the cost of national interests, sovereignty and honor.

Dr. Niazi said in his speech that the key role Pakistan played in bringing about the downfall of the former Soviet Union was a blunder. It resulted in the emergence of a unipolar world and gave the U.S. a license to attack any country it wished, he said.
Perhaps with the passage of time my memory is a bit hazy of Pakistan's "key role" in the downfall of the Soviet Union, so if anyone has some background on that, feel free to let me know.

Of course, the left tells us it was the Russian guy with the Rorschach blot on his head, so there are plenty of crazed theories out there (psst, it was Ronald Reagan, BTW).
He said that American presidential candidates’ statements threatening Pakistan’s internal security were a reflection of the jaundiced thinking of U.S. leaders who had forgotten lessons of history and the glorious past of Muslims.
Exactly what those past glories were, he doesn't specify, naturally.

Since there aren't any.
