Heartbreak: Cowboys, Patriots Miss Playoffs

This photo was from last year after the devastating loss to the Giants, but we can only imagine what the reaction from this maniac will be on the heels of the humiliating ass-kicking administered by the Eagles today.

Meanwhile, New England is out despite an 11-5 record as the Miami Dolphins have clinched the AFC East with a win over the Jets.

Minnesota earlier clinched the NFC North with a 20-19 victory over the Giants, who substituted liberally in the second half today and nearly won. The Panthers, meanwhile, also used a late field goal to win the NFC South.

So the wildcard games next weekend will be Philadelphia at Minnesota and Atlanta at Arizona in the NFC with Baltimore at Miami and Indianapolis at the winner of tonight's Denver-San Diego game.

Oh, and while it's not quite as funny as the Cowboys getting destroyed, the sad sack Detroit Lions reached perfection today as the first team to ever go 0-16.
