Falwell in Grave Condition (UPDATED)

UPDATE: He's passed away.

Just breaking.
LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Rev. Jerry Falwell was hospitalized in "gravely serious" condition after being found unconscious Tuesday in his office at Liberty University, a school executive said.

Ron Godwin, the university's executive vice president, said Falwell, 73, was found unresponsive around 10:45 a.m. and taken to Lynchburg General Hospital. Godwin said he was not sure what caused the collapse, but he said Falwell "has a history of heart challenges."

"I had breakfast with him, and he was fine at breakfast," Godwin said. "He went to his office, I went to mine, and they found him unresponsive."
The fine citizens at the Huffington Post and Daily Kos will no doubt be celebrating.

I hope they don't show Falwell's coffin. He deserves the same disrespect as soldiers.

It's not a loss of humanity. It's the realization that the world is a better place with some people not in it.
Failwell was an evil bastard. Too bad he died without suffering. Fuck'im and his horse.
The down side is that there are lots of surviving shamanistic hucksters to carry on the fleecing of Failwell's Sheep and carry on his campaign of hate. Fuck'em all. Get a bigger coffin.

Meanwhile, at Crooks and Liars, they plead for the animals to keep it civil, but the request is falling on deaf ears.
I have had deep, deep issues with Falwell's statements and actions in the past. And I truly do believe he had a very negative impact on politics in the US. However, I am also going to ask that C&Lers wishing to comment on this thread show some respect (for the site and the site team, if no one else) by not turning it into a hate-fest.
