Your NEW Democrat Party

The new face of the Democrat party. These are the people and organizations which lend support, both financially and morally, to the New Democrat Party. I just thought you should know more about them. These are the folks that make up the ANSWER Coalition and the moveon crowd. Here they are in the order they appeared on stage on Sep 15, 2007 in Washington DC.

You have seen the video clips, now meet the players.

Ladies first.

Rayyan GhumarCampus Anti War Network. CAN is an independent, democratic, grassroots network of students opposing the occupation of Iraq and military recruiters in our schools, at campuses all over the country.

And their photo album. http://www.traprockpeace.org/campus_antiwar.html

Which goes to a larger organization called Traprock Peace Center.

Next up Cheri Honkala – Latin American Solidarity Network ( currently)

So far all I have been able to find on her is tied to a group called Kensington Welfare Rights Union. Her fight, at least up until this weekend, was for the poor and homeless.

Rev Graylan Hagler – Ministers for Racial, Social & Economic Justice When trying to look up a web site for this group I encountered this from Wiki.

He is linked to a group called Hungry for Justice and this is what they are about.

is a coalition of local and national organizations working at the
grassroots level to ensure that the defendants in the Holy Land
Foundation trial receive a free and fair trial.

If you haven’t heard of the Holy Land Foundation they are currently the defendants in the case being tried in Texas, and not being reported on, that is kicking over the anthill of supposed Islamic charities. Among the unindicted co conspirators is CAIR.

In 1991 the Reverend took a decidedly un liberal view on the AIDS issue.

V: Footage of protesters with signs picketing the offices of the AIDS Brigade on Parker Street in Mission Hill in January of 1991. The protesters chant, "No more needles." Shot of Ellis-Hagler arriving at the protest. Hagler greets Hattie Dudley (Mission Hill resident) with a hug. Ellis-Hagler and Dudley join the protesters marching in a circle outside of the AIDS brigade offices. Jon Parker (leader, AIDS Brigade) stands on the steps of the AIDS Brigade office. Parker wears a neck brace. The men hold signs reading, "Let's work together" and "No needles equals more AIDS." Shots of the feet of the protesters.

Zahi DamuniPalestine Right to Return Coalition (Al-Awda)

Guess you don’t need to know much more then that.

Gloria LaRivaNational Committee to Free the Cuban Five

Who are the Cuban five you ask? Well according to her web site they are:

But instead of arresting the terrorists, the FBI arrested the Cuban Five ANTI-terrorists on September 12, 1998. The Five were illegally held in solidarity confinement for 17 months in Miami jail.

The trial began in November 2000. With the seven-month trial based in Miami, a virtual witchhunt atmosphere existed. Defense attorneys’ motions for a change of venue were denied five times by the judge, although it was obvious that a fair trial was impossible in that city.

In a blow to justice, the Cuban Five were convicted June 8, 2001 and sentenced to four life terms and 75 years in December, 2001.

Damn Clinton. But who were they really? Here you go.

The five Cuban agents were allegedly sent in the mid-1990s to infiltrate U.S.-based Cuban exile groups. By pretending to be staunchly anti-Castro, the agents gained entry into organizations like Brothers to the Rescue and the Cuban-American National Foundation with the intention of gathering intelligence about possible terrorist attacks against Cuba. The prosecution claimed that the agents also unsuccessfully sought to obtain information about a Navy base in the Florida Keys. They were ultimately convicted on charges of espionage conspiracy and operating as unregistered foreign agents. U.S. District Judge Joan Lenard sentenced each of the spies based on the extent of their involvement.

Now what any of this has to do with the war in Iraq beats the snot out of me.

The next guy is pretty well known to those who have been following the increasing attempts to impose shari’a law here in America. He is Mahdi Bray of the Muslim American Society

Let’s just say the song “Backstabbers” gets stuck in mind when I hear his name. He seeks to destroy the US from within, using our own freedoms against us, which if he has his way will become history once the US is a territory of the caliphate.

This should give you a good idea of who the folks who profess themselves to be anti war are. Most have some other kind of agenda but never met a protest they could resist. A vast majority are however openly sympathetic to the cause of the jihadists or at the very least useful tools. People like Mahdi Bray are hoisted up as the voice of the moderate Muslim but read any news story which mentions the MAS (Muslim American Society) and you will see they are openly anti Semitic and anti American.

And then there is this guy.

Malik Rahim Common Ground Collective

Malik was one of the founders of the Black Panthers. He was involved in a couple of shoot outs with New Orleans police and found serving some time for these actions.

This is the face of YOUR NEW DEMOCRAT PARTY. These are the people and organizations that the Dems refuse to disassociate from since they give so much in the way of campaign contributions to the them. These are the people, who by their silence, agree with the sentiment put forth by the move on folks.
