The new center of the automotive world
While the economy in MI continues to tank under the leadership of it's Democrat politicians and policies their business is heading south, literally. Kia is opening a plant in GA shortly and just posted a notice for job applicants. Average salary is going to be around $50K and now news that VW is looking at Georgia also, among others. Georgia has been actively courting foreign auto makers and we have lost a couple bids. The Ford and GM plants in the Atlanta have either already closed are will be closed shortly.
Kia
VW
Mercedes
This one wound up going to AL
MS got Toyota
And of course TN got the Saturn plant.
And just to add to the south's claim of being the center of the automotive industry let's not forget it is also home to NASCAR, whose headquarters is in NC.
So Michigan, your business really has gone south. Y'all come see us sometime, 'ya hear!
