Last Month, Michelle Obama Scoffed at Stimulus Checks; Today, The Messiah Proposes Rebates

I know they've been keeping the charming and gracious Michelle Obama in a closet somewhere to avoid he opening her mouth and saying stupid things on a regular basis, but maybe she and The Messiah ought to check in with each other once in a while just so they don't send too much of a mixed message.

Today the post-racial candidate who enjoys playing the race card proposed stealing money from oil companies in order to finance a $1000 giveaway to the public.
"This rebate will be enough to offset the increased cost of gas for a working family over the next four months," Obama said during a two-day campaign swing in Florida. "It will be enough to cover the entire increase in your heating bills. Or you could use the rebate for any of your other bills, or even to pay down your own debt."
Of course, he's blissfully unaware the price of gas has been coming down in recent weeks, but why mess with a overused narrative?

Anyway, he suggests a number of ways people use their $1000.

Of course though, it wouldn't be enough for Michelle Obama.
Mrs. Obama said in Pontiac, Michigan, Wednesday that if her husband is elected he will offer more than a "quick fix" on the economy.

"You're getting $600 - what can you do with that? Not to be ungrateful or anything, but maybe it pays down a bill, but it doesn't pay down every bill every month," she said. "The short-term quick fix kinda stuff sounds good, and it may even feel good that first month when you get that check, and then you go out and you buy a pair of earrings."
I guess they figure people wouldn't notice the hypocrisy. Naturally, the media hasn't.
