Three Days After Announcing Plans to Visit Sick White Grandmother, Compassionate Obama Now 'Set to Dash' to Hawaii

The slowest dash in recorded history.

Seriously, if the guy is so concerned, shouldn't he have been in Hawaii by at least Tuesday? I mean, he has his lovely and charming wife Michelle (by the way, anyone seen her lately?), Greasy Joe Biden, an endless trail of lobotomized surrogates and 99% of the Obama media to campaign for him, so who would even miss him?
Front-runner Barack Obama was Thursday set to quit the White House trail for Hawaii and an emotional reunion with his gravely ill 85-year-old grandmother, just 12 days before the election.

Ailing Madelyn Dunham raised the 47-year-old Obama for much of his childhood, and is his sole remaining link with his tight-knit family, after his mother died of cancer more than a decade ago.

The Democratic nominee's compassionate leave comes with Republican John McCain searching for a sudden lurch in momentum and new polls showing Obama well positioned in the vital battleground states set to decide the election.

Obama told CBS that he decided to make the exhausting journey across the Pacific to see Dunham -- nicknamed "Toot" -- despite the crush of campaign events as he "got there too late" when his mother, Ann Dunham died.
Geez, who wrote this, the Obama campaign?

A man of compassion making the exhausting journey across the Pacific.

I think I'm going to retch.

Hey, it's not as if Obama won't have any more relatives. How about his grandmother in Kenya and his half brother living in a hut on $12 a year while Obama dresses up in $1500 suits?
