Good News: George Michael's Marijuana Consumption Down to Seven Joints a Day

George Michael smokes seven joints a day and twice a week indulges in sex with men other than his live-in boyfriend, according to an interview published today.

In perhaps his most candid interview to date, Michael tells The Guardian he has cut down on his marijuana use. In the past, he was smoking up about 25 joints a day but worried his habit would damage his voice.

"I probably do about seven or eight a day now," the former Wham! frontman says. "[Before this] I was existing on a balance of Starbucks and weed."

Michael also had a "problem" with sleeping pills and has smoked crack "on occasion," the Guardian reports.

In September 2008, he was arrested in a public toilet in London’s Hampstead Heath for possession of crack cocaine.

I don't think he really needs to worry about his voice any longer since his career has been over for some time now.
