Dingy Harry Presses Forward

Seems pretty clear Harry Reid realizes this is his final year in the Senate. Why else would he launch a kamikaze effort 12 hours after the most humiliating defeat Democrats have suffered in years?
Majority Leader Harry Reid says Senate Democrats will press ahead with President Barack Obama's health care overhaul despite the loss of a Massachusetts Senate seat to a Republican.

Speaking on the Senate floor Wednesday, Reid offered a list of Senate accomplishments last year, from the Cash for Clunkers program to expanding national service programs. He said in the coming year, the Senate would ensure all Americans affordable health care.
Is he actually touting the Cash for Clunkers debacle as a success? Good grief, someone adjust his medication.
Reid acknowledged Tuesday's election loss, but urged Republicans and Democrats to work together as partners, not partisans.
The most partisan man in the Senate now wants to work together as partners? Who is he kidding?

Memo to the GOP: If you want to regain majority status or anything approaching it, do not do business with this lame duck.
