That's an expensive joke.
A Chicago man busted for telling a flight attendant that he had a bomb in his bag at Long Island's Macarthur Airport Sunday afternoon was hit with $50,000 bail this morning.
Draco Slaughter, 75, was on a flight waiting to leave for Florida when he allegedly told a stunned stewardess "that there could be a bomb in a bag he identified as his," according to a criminal complaint.
The attendant, Dawn Rolen, alerted authorities who evacuated the plane and searched the bag and cabin but found no evidence of explosives.
Ther plane was delayed for two hours.
Slaughter, who contritely called his threat "a joke" while being transported to court this morning, was arrested and charged with felony falsely reporting an incident. He is not expected to make bail.

Dumbass of the Day
You'd think a 75-year-old man would know better. You claim to have a bomb while on a plane and you're getting locked up.
