Funemployment Jumps to 9.8% in January*

The party train keeps chuggin' along:

This should give Obama something to talk about with Bill O'Reilly on Super Bowl Sunday, in case there are any awkward pauses during the discussion of the unfolding disaster in the Middle East or the unconstitutionality of his historic legislative stinkbomb.

*CLARIFICATION: That was Gallup reporting 9.8% unemployment. The official rate unexpectedly dropped unexpectedly to 9.0%, which nobody expected.

Go figure, that no good employee that costs me $600/month but never does a lick of work is doing well...

Translated, I've not laid off or had anyone in my small 6 employee (2 full time) business quit in I can't recall how many years.  Yet, I'm paying $600 a month in unemployment to someone...   That's almost half an employee's salary.

It's got to be at least as bad with every employer -- go figure why no one is hiring...   Who want's to end up bumping their unemployment payments up and up?

Let's add another year to weeks to unemployment...  That'll do the trick...  Not...   Let's cut unemployment off at 4 months and allow those in need apply for welfare...   That'll get the able bodied back to work and employer's hiring...
