Palin Becomes Grandmother for Second Time, Andrew Sullivan Still Clinging to Trig Conspiracy

First, the happy news.
Sarah Palin is a grandmother again.

Kyla Grace Palin was born Saturday to Palin's eldest son, 22-year-old Track Palin, and his new wife, 21-year-old Britta Hanson.

Hanson's mother, Elizabeth Hanson, confirmed the birth and told The Associated Press that the baby girl is "exquisite." At birth, the littlest Palin weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces, according to the maternal grandmother.

"She's adorable," she said Wednesday, adding that the family is doing well. "We're all extremely excited about her arrival."
Meanwhile in a piece noting Megyn Kelly's return to the airwaves follwoing her second maternity leave, the pathetic Andrew Sullivan opines:
After allegedly giving birth to a child with special needs, Sarah Palin took two days off.
What a dick.

Yes, well, she was governor at the time.

Useful Idiot Shocked Over Obama's Covert Actions in Libya

They're usually the last ones to figure out they've been duped.

How sad.
I'm still absorbing this news and don't want to vent immediately, because there is still part of me that simply cannot believe that president Obama has already ordered covert action in Libya on one side in a civil war, and is now actively discussing whether to arm that side in another chaotic Muslim country, committing the United States to yet another war against yet another tyranny simply because we can.

It's so surreal, so discordant with what the president has told the American people, so fantastically contrary to everything he campaigned on, that I will simply wait for more confirmation than this before commenting further. I simply cannot believe it.
Has this guy been paying attention or has he just been in a marijuana-induced haze the past 27 months?

'I Don't Have the Facts'

For a guy without the facts, he sure has managed to destroy his credibility for the better part of two years now. Feverishly stalking Sarah Palin's uterus has brought us to this epochal moment.
I don't believe Palin's current story. But since I don't have the facts and sources to construct an alternative, my task is now over. I will stay vigilant for any and all new facts that we may get; and I sure won't let this go if more comes to light. But we're going around in circles now.
Shit happens when you refuse to put down the bong.

I give him a week until he discovers some new "facts" to delve into.

Doubling Down on Stupid

So I see the troubled child Levi Johnston has apologized to the Palins for being a stupid kid. Let's hope his enablers man up and do the same, but I won't be holding my breath.

As Tim Blair notes, Sullivan has yet to mention the latest news from Johnston.

No wonder. He's still busy, as of Tuesday, obsessing over Trig Palin.

Impeccable timing.
So it doesn't really matter what's true; what matters is if the inquiry could hurt liberals! As for her debunking of what's true, she should know that this blog has never claimed that Trig was Bristol's kid, just that I don't believe Palin's stories and would like to have simple, easily provided, proof. So please, once again with feeling: please prove me wrong. Any medical record clearly showing Palin's maternity will do.
That was a few hours before Johnston's confession. Hours later, in his most recent, Sullivan references his earlier Trig talk, with no mention of Johnston admission of lies that he just recently claimed nobody has refuted.
And no one has yet found an obvious lie in anything Levi has said, while her lies spew out like Deepwater Horizon.
Obviously his response will be along the lines of "somebody got to Levi" or some such nonsense.
Bursting that bubble of fear and intimidation is critical to getting at the truth.
The truth is Levi Johnston has a lot of making up to do after his malicious tales about the Palins. So too do all his accomplices and enablers. Yet the Sullivans of the world will never admit their hatred for Sarah Palin long ago clouded their judgment and have rendered them irrelevant when it comes to an honest discussion about her.

Update: Sure enough, Johnston "crumbled under the pressure" and the Palins coerced him back into line. How do we know? Crazy Andy says so!

H/T Ace.

Update: Amazingly, he just keeps digging.
She's nothing if not brutal in defense of her own interests and lies.

Trig Truther Talks About Palin's Stalker

Just what the public needs. Sarah Palin's uterine stalker Andrew Sullivan opining on Palin's other stalker, the crank Joe McGinniss. Bill Maher really has himself an all-star panel here. Communist 9/11 Truther Van Jones, far-left crank Katrina Vanden Heuvel and the deranged Sullivan. What, were no sane people available?

Meanwhile, Sullivan also boasted about the size of Al Gore's manhood. How he knows about this stuff is between him and Gore, I guess.

H/T Jedi.

Infamous Teabagger Continues Bashing Palin

This guy is a real teabagger, in the original sense of the word, and for those that don't know what the original sexual slang this is the word for, look it up. The ghey in question is Andrew Sullivan, who has for almost two years now been running columns full of conspiracy theories about the parentage of Sarah Palin's mentally challenged son and that of her daughter Bristol's child, has now gone further off the rails ranting about how the press gave Sarah Palin a pass, and continues to give her a pass.

Excuse me. I could take that column and substitute the name Obama and it would be far more appropriate.
Here's a revealing glimpse into how a delusional, incompetent, pathological liar has managed never to hold a real press conference and yet remains a credible public figure.
Remind me again how many press conferences Obama has had? Andrew would be wise to remember which one is an elected figure and which one is a private citizen. Last time I checked my auto mechanic wasn't giving any press interviews either.
The reason I banged on and on about Palin's bizarre story about her fifth campaign prop during the campaign was not because I wanted to invade someone's privacy, or engage in loony conspiracy theories. The reason is simply that this story raised legitimate questions of fact, and that the press decided that it would never ask the relevant questions, and indeed ostracize and ridicule those who did.
C'mon, Andrew. A handicapped child is now a campaign prop? I am sure nine months before his birth the Palins knew that John McCain was going to reach down and pluck her out of her job as governor of Alaska and ask her to be his running mate. At that time I think everybody had pretty much written off the McCain campaign.

Odd choice of expressions also, maybe a Freudian slip with the banging allusion?
The problem here is not really Palin. Every delusional, ignorant nutcase should have a chance to get away with running for national office. The problem here is the system - a system that allowed someone no-one knew anything about to get very close to being a 72-year-old's heartbeat away from the presidency, a system that deems some questions unaskable, a press that is more concerned with maximizing ratings and avoiding offence than in getting answers. This system is dangerous. If you construct a sealed media cocoon, and false narrative, and a massive money-machine, you can get further than most people imagine.
Tsk, tsk. Such vitriol and name calling. I do, however, agree that the sentiments put forth here more aptly describe Obama then they do Palin, but then I am just not sure what color the unicorns are in Mr. Sullivan's world.

Look, if GEICO can ditch a voice-over guy for making threatening phone calls it seems that The Atlantic can cut loose somebody who appears to be in serious need of some mental health treatment. At some point I would think he would make those around him uncomfortable coming to work and sharing an office with him, provided of course he actually does go into an office. Somehow I think this guy sits around his house all day, lost in his delusions of all things Palin. This guy is scary and I wouldn't want to be around when he either sobers up or a flash of reality hits him. It just might be more then he can handle.

Palin's Uterine Stalker Offers Apology

No, he doesn't actually apologize for his creepy, obsessive behavior when it comes to the bizarre fascination with Trig Palin. He laments not seeing John Edwards for the fraud he is. Funny, but the rest of the planet knew Edwards was a lowlife while at the same time we all know Trig really is Sarah's son. He promises to get to the bottom of that eventually.
I've been thinking about what seems to me a double standard in my treatment of vice-presidential frauds, with respect to Sarah Palin and John Edwards, and trying to figure out where I went wrong. No, I'm not backtracking on Palin: all I regret is not being able to expose her for real yet. But I'm a blogger not an investigative reporter; my job as I see it, is to make sense of the facts on the table and disseminate them, not to do the vital legwork to get new facts. And there's also the obvious fact that Palin was a total unknown and we had only two months to figure out who she was, especially since she wasn't vetted by McCain in any serious way.
It didn't take two months before he ran with the unfounded rumor that Trig was not Sarah's baby, and now 18 months later he still promises to get to the bottom of a non-story.

Let it go already.
With Palin, people assumed that because she was a governor, she had a baseline level of competence, logic, general knowledge and mental stability. Wrong. On the Trig stuff, it was just too absurd to doubt her story, however factually implausible it appeared.
A mentally ill man is now questioning Sarah Palin's mental stability. A question for The Atlantic: Why is this man still employed by you?

I'm not the only one questioning his sanity.
As much as I generally enjoy Sullivan, I think I have to call bullsh*t here: how is spending twelve months-plus relentless questioning (with zero proof, it should be noted) the parentage of Trig Palin not an investigation of someone’s private life and/or something that “coarsens our discourse, violates human dignity.” It’s not.
How far has Sullivan fallen? Well, some obscure blog is only four spots behind Sullivan.

Palin's Uterine Stalker Suddenly Concerned About Obama Being 'Smeared'

Boy, these lefty crackpots really have plenty of time on their hands trying to find "racism" where none exists.
Glenn Reynolds finds a photo in the White House Flickr basket and publishes it to, er, point out how bad the White House's p.r. is, or how blind they are to perceptions of Obama or some such thing. I tried to puzzle this one out and can just about see how an elusive photo of a tired Obama reacting to something unknowable might make him look tired or arrogant or something.

And then I realized why this photo immediately strikes some people are damning. Obama is a black man who looks as if he is condescending to a white man. That's political gold.
Reynolds applies the slapdown.
Andrew Sullivan says that commenting on photos from the White House Flickr feed is racist, or something. Well, that’s the last refuge of the Obama fans these days, isn’t it? But Biden’s role here isn’t as a white man. Obama’s showing contempt — or so it seems to me — for the guy he picked as his running mate. And, of course, Andrew’s still mad at me for calling him a bad writer.
Assorted discussion here. I notice the lonely ponytail guy trying to get in on the action.

But of course.

These people spends 24 hours a day smearing everyone they can find. Take a look in the mirror, folks.

Ace links. Thanks!

Bristol Palin Sues for Full Custody, Andrew Sullivan Hardest Hit

Hard to imagine why Bristol Palin would want full custody of her baby, isn't it? You have a lowlife father with no visible means of support other than showing his junk for Playgirl who goes around to enabling media outlets declaring his intent to reveal "secrets" about the Palins.

So the young lady does the right thing and now the sniveling begins.
A judge's ruling has revealed a heated legal custody battle between Sarah Palin's daughter and the father of her grandson.
Bristol Palin's request to keep the proceedings closed was denied last week by a Superior Court judge. A temporary order had authorized the use of pseudonyms while the court was considering the request, which stated that no good "could result to the child by an onslaught of media."

Levi Johnston, the father of 1-year-old Tripp, has pushed for open court proceedings, saying he "just wants a simple case on the merits."

"I do not feel protected against Sarah Palin in a closed proceeding," Johnston said in an affidavit. "I hope that if it is open she will stay out of it. Bristol's attorney is her attorney."
Aww, the poor thing. Not talking so much trash now, are we?

Naturally, Johnston's Number One Fanboy rushes to his defense.
I'm not sure why Palin wants a knock-down drag-out fight with the father of her grandson, but she acts so often out of spite, anger and with no solid grasp of the full consequences you never know what she might do next. It sure reveals her invitation to Thanksgiving on Oprah as a total lie.
No. Solid. Grasp. Rather amusing choice of words coming from a man obsesses with Sarah Palin's uterus the past 16 months.

No. Solid. Grasp. As in, say, no solid grasp on reality?

We're pretty sure Sullivan wrote that. It does have his name on it. Although it could be one of his ghost-bloggers. We're not sure. We just have no solid grasp on the reality of it.
The document also notes that Levi's mother, Sherry Johnston, should not be allowed unsupervised visits with the baby following her drug arrest. Sherry Johnston, who is serving out most of her three-year sentence under home confinement, was sentenced last month on a guilty plea to one count of possession with intent to deliver the painkiller OxyContin.

Palin's custody petition also suggested Levi Johnston may have his own issues with substance abuse, saying he made statements about seeking "weed" on Twitter.
Clearly since Sullivan himself has such fondness for weed we can see whay he empathizes with Johnston. That and his pathetic obsession with Sarah Palin.

Full Blown Palin Derangement Syndrome

Crazy Andy has returned from his self-imposed exile. He really ought to seek professional help.
So what to do? First off, she cannot be given the benefit of the doubt. And the Dish will continue to monitor those odd lies that can be independently and objectively proven, as we have all along. But for those things we cannot prove objectively, we just have to leave alone at this point. I believe nothing she says is true unless I can verify it. But if I can't disprove her accounts of things only she and her family can know about, I should shut up.

Move on and forget about her? If only. Not just because she is a vital figure in this country's politics right now and one of the most dangerous demagogues this country has seen in a long time, but because I just want to know. I want to know what really lies under that facade.

I'm going to keep poring over transcripts, Nexis and anything else I can find to monitor this phenomenon - and its many tributaries and nuances and narratives. If you have any verifiable facts or objective evidence relating to "Going Rogue", you have my email address. Everything is in total confidence. No wild-ass theories (we have more than enough of them). Just facts that I can establish as objective and that illuminate any part of the story in front of us.
No wild-ass theories, like a woman giving birth twice within eight months. Let's just deal with the facts.

More Astonishment From Palin's Uterine Stalker

When last heard from, Andrew Sullivan was trying to finagle out his marijuana bust on Cape Cod. That provided enough amusement. Now the deranged former "conservative" with the very unhealthy obsession over Sarah Palin is shocked -- shocked! -- Mrs. Palin managed to churn out a 400-page book in a scant four months. I think his problem is it will be a huge bestseller, far outpacing anything he could ever dream of.
Someone in her position with a decent sense of perspective and self-knowledge might have said no to John McCain in August of 2008. Or taken the pick as an opportunity to get boned up on policy.
Boned up? Seems a rather odd choice of words for Sullivan.
But why the rush? It couldn't be that she's trying to beat any other account of her bizarre career and surreal private life, could it?
Let me guess. Is Sullivan planning a book compilation chronicling the past year's bizarre, incoherent ramblings about Trig Palin? You know, the insane, pathological obsession that has reduced him to a punchline?

Who knows? Yet what seems to horrify Mr. Raw Muscle Glutes is Palin's ghostwriter is -- horror of horrors! -- a Christian! Imagine that, a Christian author. Rather nefarious, don't you think?.
Just as Palin was relatively unknown when McCain tapped her as his running mate, Vincent hardly is a household name.

For the past 10 years, she has been working for Christian-based World Magazine, from which she took leave to work full time with Palin.

Like so many before her, Vincent settled in San Diego after a Navy career brought her here. From 1986 to 1989, she was stationed at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station as an air traffic controller and later at North Island Naval Air Station before retiring in 1991. Vincent's husband, Danny, who also was in the Navy, still works in air traffic control at North Island.

When Vincent, 47, was chosen as ghostwriter, the liberal online Huffington Post focused on an earlier book of hers that was critical of the Democratic Party. Vincent is clearly uncomfortable with political pigeonholing and points to her books involving Christian pop singer Michael English, former terrorist Kamal Saleem and Delta Force leader Lt. Gen. William “Jerry” Boykin.

The best-known of her collaborations, however, is about a millionaire art dealer whose life changed after he befriended a homeless drifter. “Same Kind of Different as Me” has sold more than 560,000 copies. It has spent 75 weeks on The New York Times best-seller list, raised millions of dollars for homeless shelters and grabbed Hollywood's attention.

Movie rights were picked up by Mark Clayman, executive producer of “The Pursuit of Happyness.” He is working with Ralph Winter (of “X-Men” fame).
Whatever the case, these upcoming 400 page probably give new meaning to Sullivan's pathetic existence. Look at all the fresh material there will be for him to obsess over.

Maybe when he's done with that he can check up on who the ghostwriter for Barack Obama's books were.

Must Be Trig Palin's Fault

Hey, look who got busted for toting around a bag of weed up on Cape Cod. We suspect it may have been too many bong hits that made the kook obsess over Sarah Palin's womb for the past year.

Although it's curious why this non-citizen is getting such preferential treatment.
Political commentator, author and writer for The Atlantic magazine Andrew M. Sullivan won’t have to face charges stemming from a recent pot bust at the Cape Cod National Seashore — but a federal judge isn’t happy about it.

U. S. Magistrate Judge Robert B. Collings says in his decision that the case is an example of how sometimes “small cases raise issues of fundamental importance in our system of justice.”

While marijuana possession may have been decriminalized, Sullivan, who owns a home in Provincetown, made the mistake of being caught by a park ranger with a controlled substance on National Park Service lands, a federal misdemeanor.

The ranger issued Sullivan a citation, which required him either to appear in U.S. District Court or, in essence, pay a $125 fine.

But the U.S. Attorney’s Office sought to dismiss the case. Both the federal prosecutor and Sullivan’s attorney said it would have resulted in an “adverse effect” on an unspecified “immigration status” that Sullivan, a British citizen, is applying for.
Sounds like grounds for deportation to me. Otherwise people may get the impression there are two Americas. One for us regular folk and another for whacked-out conspiratorial bloggers.

More here.

Crazed Conspiracist Bemoans Crazed Conspiracists

Funny, but we have a guy here who still believes Trig Palin is not Sarah Palin's son, yet has a field day with the kook Birthers. While I agree with Sullivan the Birthers are cranks, he goes off the rails by implying it's some racist conspiracy against Barack Obama.

Memo to Andy: Get over your own paranoid obsessions before opining on those of others. It might add a bit of credibility to your argument.
This is the silly season. But this silly story seems to me an indication of something more ominous. The demographics tell the basic story: a black man is president and a large majority of white southerners cannot accept that, even in 2009. They grasp conspiracy theories to wish Obama — and the America he represents — away. Since white southerners comprise an increasing proportion of the 22% of Americans who still describe themselves as Republican, the GOP can neither dismiss the crankery nor move past it. The fringe defines what’s left of the Republican centre.

The chilling implication is that a large number of Americans believe the president has no right to be in office and has fraudulently manoeuvred himself there.

I hope the secret service is on alert. If we thought racial panic had ended with Obama’s election, the resilience of this story in key parts of the country is a helpful wake-up call.

Sullivan: MSM Should Die Because They Won't Go Trig Troofer

The slow unraveling of Andrew Sullivan continues. You'd think the guy might figure out why nobody in the mainstream media wants to join him on his insane quest to determine somehow that Sarah Palin isn't the mother of her son Trig.
As I have said all along, I do not know what happened and the benefit of the doubt should go to Palin in the absence of actual journalism being committed. But the more her pregnancy with Trig becomes a campaign platform, a serious inquiry into exactly what happened in those few surreal days - days and decisions that she has made public and that reflect vital questions about her character and judgment - remains on the shelf of media deference. And the key witnesses who could verify it all - Palin herself, her husband, her doctor - still refuse to even take questions on the most bizarre series of events in Palin's entire life.

I believed then and I believe now that the MSM is too concerened with their own reputations and too deferent to power to even ask the questions. Which is another betrayal of their core purpose. And why they are dying. And deserve to.
Sullivan is in the midst of career suicide yet still remains undaunted.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dee Dee Myers authors the latest hit piece on Palin.

These people really do fear her.

Here's a little something for Crazy Andy to think about (via Ace). Amazing how quickly she shed that baby fat, huh?

Obsessed Blogger Frets: 'GOP Has Declared War On Obama'

This is rather amusing.
This much is now clear. Their clear and open intent is to do all they can, however they can, to sabotage the new administration (and the economy to boot). They want failure. Even now. Even after the last eight years.
I know all the steroids may have left him unable to think clearly, but even someone as insane as this may have noticed the Democrats spent the last eight years waging war on George W. Bush. I guess he expects the GOP to just roll over and disappear while the Democrats shove socialism down our throats.

He should go back to stalking the Palins. At least that was somewhat entertaining.

Bristol Palin Derangement Syndrome, Continued

We figured after Bristol Palin gave birth this nutcase would finally let go and just return to his role as public laughingstock while trying not to draw so much attention to his mental illness.

But no.
I've given up counting, but I should note that none of her defenders on the right have really dealt with the documented fact of her repeated self-refutations and delusional assertions of "facts" that are indisputably non-facts. Her unstable grip on reality, taken for granted in Alaska, is the reason many of us simply do not believe a word she says unless we have actual evidence for it.
Oops.
[Correction: I should have read the full Esquire excerpt rather than the Courant summary of it. In the actual interview, she gives all three reasons for Bristol's name. So no contradiction. My bad.]
D'oh!

While I'll give Palin a pass and figure she's just embellishing, likely just goofing on the relation to Bristol, CT, it's not quite in the league of total fabrications like Hillary Clinton claiming she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, who scaled Mount Everest years after she was born.

As for Sullivan, he really needs treatment for his Bristol obsession. Apparently he has been too obsessed with Trig and the Palin uteruses to recall that Sarah Palin actually did spend time as a sports broadcaster when she was out of college and was a high school basketball player in 1979, when ESPN launched. I'm not sure where Sullivan was 30 years ago, and frankly, I'm not interested.

Bad News for Trig Troofers

Crackpot conspiracy theorists and assorted nutcases such as Andrew Sullivan for months have insisted that Trig Palin was not born to his mother, Sarah, but rather to her daughter Bristol. Sullivan as recently as two weeks ago clung to this insanity.

Baby Trig entered the world eight months ago today.

Well, word comes today that Bristol Palin is due to give birth Saturday.
THE first grandchild of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is a boy, her father, Chuck Heath, revealed to Grandparents.com. Heath said his pregnant granddaughter, Bristol Palin, has a due date of Dec. 20. Asked what Bristol and the child's still unmarried father, Levi Johnston, will name the baby, Heath answered, "Oscar . . . No, I'm just kidding. They don't have a name for it yet."
As I can safely assume no human being has ever given birth eight months apart, Sullivan has some explaining to do.

Not to mention apologizing and asking for forgiveness from Sarah Palin. Somehow I doubt he's man enough to do either.

Instapundit links. Thanks!

Update: A reader emailed to note an instance where someone indeed gave birth eight months apart, so I'll stand corrected on that point. Though in that case the second birth was a couple premature after 28 weeks. In the case of Bristol Palin, however, she'll be full term. Hate to give the troofers something to cling to, but I thought it was worth noting.

Update: Thank to Charles Johnson for the link. Now the Nirther cranks will really be out in force.

Thanks also to Ace and Rand for the links.

'Please Make Me Look Like an Idiot for Asking These Questions'

Don't worry, you already look like one.
I begged the McCain campaign by private email and in a private meeting to give me something - anything - to kill the story off. I promised to run any evidence that would blow this out of the water. That offer still stands. Please make me look like an idiot for asking these questions. But they didn't offer a thing, asserting that even asking the question was an outrageous reputation-destroying offense. Maybe Michelle Malkin is right that this is truther, tin-foil hat territory.
Uh, yes, Michelle is right.

And you need help.

ACORN Goes On The Attack

ACORN is fighting back, and in doing so they are not denying that they are a political action wing of the Democrat party. There are guest appearances by the deranged Andrew Sullivan of the Atlantic, who has some sort of obsession with the paternity of Trig Palin, Greg Palast and my favorite Bertha Lewis, Interim Chief Organizer.

The basic crux of their argument seems to be how dare the Republicans challenge our illegally registered voters.

Watch the video and see if you can spot your favorite liberal or newspaper.

Oh and they ask that you spread the truth about ACORN, so I am doing my part.

And so is the FBI.
