Nutroots Blogger: FBI Orchestrated NY Bomb Plot

Well, at least we know what Maureen Dowd's next column will be about.

If you haven't heard, four African-American Muslims were arrested this evening in New York City and charged with a plot to bomb a series of sites in city, including several synagogues. It appears that this is one of those cases where the group was under surveillance for a very long time and helped along in what turned out to be a bogus plot orchestrated by federal authorities.

Well, that didn't take long and we called this one last night.

It should take the ACLU about two minutes to claim they were set up and the left to portray them as innocent dupes.

Another crackpot here sees the same angle.

Interestingly, we see that the entire "plot" was hatched by an FBI informant

Funny, but the suspects sure as hell seemed like they wanted to reign terror upon New Yorkers, and Jews in particular.

One of the suspects, James Cromitie, a k a Abdul Rahman, bragged that blowing up the synagogues would be a "piece of cake," the feds said.

"I hate those motherf - - -ers, those f - - -ing Jewish bastards . . . I would like to get a synagogue," Cromitie told an informant, according to a criminal complaint.

The alleged terrorists' hatred also included the US military.

"During this surveillance, Cromitie pointed to people walking on the street in the vicinity of a Jewish community center and said that if he had a gun, he would shoot each one in the head," according to the court papers.

At one point, Cromitie allegedly lamented that "the best target [the World Trade Center] was hit already."

Yup, sounds like a set-up, no?

In other terrorism news, the Obama administration is just begging for more as they're going to try a Club Gitmo detainee here in New York.

Genius move.

JIHAD SHEILA'S!

Did you read about the Australian Muslim convert who says she feels less sympathy for the victims of the Bali bombings than for the Afghans who helped her in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks? Rabiah Hutchinson, from Mudgee in New South Wales's central west, converted to Islam decades ago and follows the branch called Wahhabism, the same strand as Osama Bin Laden. (And so assiduously exported around the world by our dear friends, the Saudis. DV)

She says she feels more sympathy for the Afghanis than for the Bali bombing victims, "because they weren't holidaying in someone's country sometimes engaging in child pornography or paedophilia or drug taking". Speaking on television for the first time, in a program called Jihad Sheilas to be aired on ABC TV tonight, she defends her religion and says she is not a threat to Australia.

Sorry but she condemns herself by her every word. Wahhabism is a malignant cancer, a vicious pathology, and has NO place in the civilised world. She may be yearning for the Taliban, and she obviously feels nothing for all those young Australians so cruelly burned to death by her co-religionists. Why not do the decent thing and send her BACK to Afghanistan, to those Jihadi with whom she feels such sympathy? Fair dinkum?

Aussie Prisoners Converting to Islam

It's not just the U.S prisons that have become a breeding ground for Islamist recruiting. Australia also has a big problem on their hands.

CHILLING evidence has emerged that some of the state's most dangerous prisoners have become devotees of terrorism after converting to Islam.

Drawings found in the Super Max cell of Bassam Hamzy, ringleader of 12 Islamic converts within the high-security Goulburn jail, suggest some in the gang see themselves as assassins bent on causing terror in Australia.

The Sun-Herald can reveal a hand-drawn gang logo was found in Hamzy's cell bearing the words "assassins australia FFL" with depictions of AK-47 assault rifles. Checks by Department of Corrective Services security officers found FFL stood for "Freedom Fighters Lebanon".

A handwritten note was found saying: "Solja Warrior We don fear death and sometimes we wish for it [sic]."

Guards also confiscated a photo of Osama bin Laden found in Hamzy's cell.
