This story comes from Australia, but the similarities to what we endure in America are striking. Illegal immigrant, sponging off of the welfare system all the while using the taxpayer dollars he received to plot jihad against the citizens of Australia. It is as if the entire western world is filled with bureaucrats who devote more time and energy helping those wishing to do us harm then they do the people they are supposed to serve.

Jihad By Any Other Name ....

Oh those fun loving Germans, although I don't guess you can really fault them in this case since the name these adherents of the Religion of Peace™ chose to name their little bundle of exploding joy is an accepted name in the Arabic world. Of course it is. Why wouldn't it be?
A Berlin court has upheld rulings in favor of parents who sought to name their son Djehad, a variation on the Arabic "jihad," or holy war.
The superior court upheld two lower court rulings allowing the name on grounds that it is recognized for males in Arabic-speaking countries.

JIHAD SHEILA'S!
Did you read about the Australian Muslim convert who says she feels less sympathy for the victims of the Bali bombings than for the Afghans who helped her in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks? Rabiah Hutchinson, from Mudgee in New South Wales's central west, converted to Islam decades ago and follows the branch called Wahhabism, the same strand as Osama Bin Laden. (And so assiduously exported around the world by our dear friends, the Saudis. DV)She says she feels more sympathy for the Afghanis than for the Bali bombing victims, "because they weren't holidaying in someone's country sometimes engaging in child pornography or paedophilia or drug taking". Speaking on television for the first time, in a program called Jihad Sheilas to be aired on ABC TV tonight, she defends her religion and says she is not a threat to Australia.
Sorry but she condemns herself by her every word. Wahhabism is a malignant cancer, a vicious pathology, and has NO place in the civilised world. She may be yearning for the Taliban, and she obviously feels nothing for all those young Australians so cruelly burned to death by her co-religionists. Why not do the decent thing and send her BACK to Afghanistan, to those Jihadi with whom she feels such sympathy? Fair dinkum?

Mapping Online Jihad
Animesh Roul at Counterterrorism Blog has an interesting post on terror and the Internet.
Of late, there is a spurt of literatures regarding the threat of ‘online Jihad’ (threat about the use of internet web space in fueling, fostering Jihadi terrorism). Terrorist organizations and their sympathizers do maintain Web sites taking advantage of the unregulated, anonymous, and easily accessible nature of the Internet. Thanks to Web logs, discussion groups and social networking groups and free upload servers where one doesn’t need to hire a webmaster or to book a server space to run the agenda. It is in common knowledge now that they target a variety of audiences to exploit for raising funds, recruitment, and to spread propaganda, even plan and launch attacks and to publicize their mind-blowing results. Even they have web journals like “Technical Mujahid” (first ever released late November 2006 al-Fajr Information Center) with a detailed know-how of computer and Internet knowledge and security designed for terrorists only.Read the whole thing.
More Jihadi Murders in Thailand
Islamofascism is becoming more defined daily by its senselessness and savagery. Thailand has a serious problem.
Yala - Two Buddhists were killed and another injured by Muslim insurgents while they were tapping rubber trees in a village in this southern border province Monday morning, police said.Via Jihad Watch.
Police said the three were tapping rubber trees in Sagai Village in Tambon Ban Reu of Yala's Thanto district at 9:29 am when a group of insurgents opened fire at them.
Luem Waewphet, 70, and Sumalee Thampradit, 26, died at the scene.
Sutham Thampradit, 60, was severely injured and rushed to the district hospital.

Arithmetic of Jihad
Some sobering numbers.
They weren't created by George W. Bush, either.
It's time we open our eyes and confront reality. Ever since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the media has sought to reassure us that only a tiny minority of Muslims actually support the use of violence against Israel and the West.Read it all.
It's just a small fringe, a marginal few at best, they tell us, so don't worry about it all too much. One percent or three percent - who cares? Just sit back, enjoy your morning eggs and coffee and have a nice day.
But a look at the numbers tells a very different story. The extent of support for global jihad is frightening in its proportions, and the numbers are anything but insignificant.
They weren't created by George W. Bush, either.

Democrats Silent on Jihad
Jeff Jacoby nails the Democrats but good. For all those running, and the field is more crowded than the Kentucky Derby, none of them seem to know what the most pressing issue of the day is. They'd rather chat and have a dialogue, whatever that's supposed to mean.
THE SURGE is underway, and more rapidly than many of us were expecting. The influx of new troops into Iraq? No, of candidates into the 2008 presidential contest.Read it all.
So far this month, Senators Hillary Clinton of New York, Barack Obama of Illinois, and Chris Dodd of Connecticut, plus Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico -- Democrats all -- have formally launched White House campaigns (or "exploratory committees"). Already in the race were former senators John Edwards of North Carolina and Mike Gravel of Alaska, former governor Tom Vilsack of Iowa, and Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich.
Eight Democrats, eight would-be commanders-in-chief -- all running for president in a time of war. So which of them, on getting into the race, had this to say about the nature of the enemy confronting us?
