Twitter Sub-Moron Keith Olbermann Scrapes Bottom (Again), Suggests S.E. Cupp Should Have Been Aborted

Looks like someone roused the former MSNBC ratings albatross Keith Olbermann from his Manhattan hot tub to inform him that S.E. Cupp opposes public funding for abortion and Planned Parenthood (but I repeat myself).

To which the witless doofus replied.


He then tried to play dumb - and so convincingly, I must say I believe the man to be a true imbecile. He pointed out that only 3% of what Planned Parenthood does is perform abortions. Which is bullcrap, of course, but let's play along for a minute. You see, what he meant (of course) was "her parents would have helped the earth had they consulted PP for birth control."

Mmm hmm.

Birth control? Planned Parenthood's idea of birth control is Abort! Abort! Abort! and then letting clients take home a free condom from the lollypop bowl at the front desk:

Although I must admit the "How can you trust me with a child?" sign is surprisingly thought-provoking.

Well played, Ms. Moonbat. I can certainly understand why you might not want to punish yourself with a baby. What a drag that would be! But have you considered a chastity belt? A tubal ligation? Or, perhaps - not sleeping around so much? Those are all fairly effective methods of birth control, and none of them involve killing babies.

ObamaCare to Pay for Abortions

Of course this won't go over well with the angry mobs.

Donna Crane, policy director for NARAL Pro-Choice America, said abortion opponents "want an abortion ban in private insurance, and that's not neutrality at all _ that's a radical departure from current law. They want something far more extreme than where I think the American public is."

A compromise approved by a House committee last week attempted to balance questions of federal funding, personal choice and the conscience rights of clinicians. It would allow the public plan to cover abortion but without using federal funds, only dollars from beneficiary premiums. Likewise, private plans in the new insurance exchange could opt to cover abortion, but no federal subsidies would be used to pay for the procedure.

"It's a sham," said Douglas Johnson, legislative director for National Right to Life. "It's a bookkeeping scheme. The plan pays for abortion, and the government subsidizes the plan."

Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif., author of the compromise, said she was trying to craft a solution that would accommodate both sides. Her amendment also would allow plans that covered no abortions whatsoever _ not even in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother _ to be offered through the insurance exchange.

"With all due respect, not everyone adheres to what the Catholic bishops believe," said Capps, who supports abortion rights. "Our country allows for both sides, and our health plan should reflect that as well."

Our country allows for both sides. Except, of course, for the side that doesn't believe in federal funding for abortion or government control of our health care.

We don't count in Obama's America.

We're just an angry mob to be dismissed.

Whatever Happened to Choice? Obama Will Force Doctors to Perform Abortions

I guess being pro-choice only matters if you're pro-abortion?

Pro-lifers? No choice for them.

This is really bringing people together.

Today the Obama Administration published a proposed regulation to repeal the Provider Conscience Rule, which protects medical caregivers against being forced to do procedures contrary to their conscience.

This is a big step towards government tyranny over the medical profession.

Medical professionals should never be compelled to violate their consciences in treating patients. The integrity of the practice of medicine depends on physicians being able to decline to do what they feel is wrong.

Jane Orient, M.D., observed, "It is outrageous that the Obama Administration would move so aggressively to interfere with the practice of medicine in this country. A doctor's right to conscience is essential to preserving the integrity of the profession, and we will continue to stand in defense of it."

Saddam Hussein ordered doctors to amputate the right hands of merchants who conducted business in dollars, and atrocities of the Holocaust were perpetrated by ordering doctors to do inhumane and unthinkable procedures. We do not ever want to allow that in the United States.

But the Obama Administration is ordering the repeal in its entirety of the essential protection of the right to conscience. This exposes physicians, pharmacists, nurses and all caregivers to being forced to do what they think is wrong.

Change fewer and fewer people can believe in.

'The Baby Was Just Treated as a Piece of Garbage'

This is just sick.

Eighteen and pregnant, Sycloria Williams went to an abortion clinic outside Miami and paid $1,200 for Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique to terminate her 23-week pregnancy.

Three days later, she sat in a reclining chair, medicated to dilate her cervix and otherwise get her ready for the procedure.

Only Renelique didn't arrive in time. According to Williams and the Florida Department of Health, she went into labor and delivered a live baby girl.

What Williams and the Health Department say happened next has shocked people on both sides of the abortion debate: One of the clinic's owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant's umbilical cord. Williams says the woman placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

Police recovered the decomposing remains in a cardboard box a week later after getting anonymous tips.

"I don't care what your politics are, what your morals are, this should not be happening in our community," said Tom Pennekamp, a Miami attorney representing Williams in her lawsuit against Renelique (ren-uh-LEEK') and the clinic owners.

The state Board of Medicine is to hear Renelique's case in Tampa on Friday and determine whether to strip his license. The state attorney's homicide division is investigating, though no charges have been filed. Terry Chavez, a spokeswoman with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office, said this week that prosecutors were nearing a decision.

Renelique's attorney, Joseph Harrison, called the allegations at best "misguided and incomplete" in an e-mail to The Associated Press. He didn't provide details.

The case has riled the anti-abortion community, which contends the clinic's actions constitute murder.

"The baby was just treated as a piece of garbage," said Tom Brejcha, president of The Thomas More Society, a law firm that is also representing Williams. "People all over the country are just aghast."

Even those who support abortion rights are concerned about the allegations.

They should be. They have a lot of blood on their hands.

Media Swoons as Democrats Pretend to Find Faith

The sickening double standard by the mainstream media is so painfully obvious when Democrats pretend to be devoutly religious. For years during the Clinton presidency we were constantly treated to photo shoots of a Bible-toting Slick Willie going to church, as if his attendance for Sunday services were something genuine and not a choreographed photo-op.

By the same token, for decades now Republicans who dutifully practice their religion are scorned as the "religious right" and we're constantly reminded of the separation of church and state and how dare these rightwingers shove their religion down out throats!

So now as Barack Obama and Mrs. Clinton go to war in Pennsylvania, we get this nauseating item about how much the two of them read the Bible.

Please.

Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday the potential for life begins at conception as she and presidential rival Sen. Barack Obama answered questions about faith and religion in both their personal lives and the public discourse.

Life begins at conception? Huh?

Tell that to Planned Parenthood, sister.

In a forum devoted to an issue rare on the campaign trail, the two White House hopefuls talked about the presence of God in their lives and how often they read the Bible, as well as divisive issues including abortion, abstinence and human rights within the context of faith.

Democrats preaching abstinence? Say what?

Well, the issue is so rare on the campaign trail because any time a Republican mentions faith, he's ridiculed and forced to explain a pro-life stance (if he or she is indeed pro-life).

For months Mitt Romney was on the defensive trying to explain his Mormon faith to the media as if he were practicing a religion nobody had ever heard of. Meanwhile, Obama's mentor Jeremiah Wright escaped any scrutiny for over a year and even after being exposed, the bulk of the press corps would rather that issue just disappear.

Clinton was asked whether life begins at conception - which abortion opponents contend is a reality that makes any termination of a pregnancy the ending of a life.

"I believe the potential for life begins at conception," Clinton said. "For me, it is also not only about a potential life. It is about the other lives involved. ... I have concluded, after great, you know, concern and searching my own mind and heart over many years... that individuals must be entrusted to make this profound decision, because the alternative would be such an intrusion of government authority that it would be very difficult to sustain in our kind of open society."

Sure. Here's a socialist who would like to control every facet of your life, and she has the temerity to pretend to fret over governmental intrusion into your life.

Slick, indeed.

Asked at the faith forum whether life begins at conception, Obama said he didn't know the answer.

"This is something that I have not, I think, come to a firm resolution on. I think it's very hard to know what that means, when life begins. Is it when a cell separates? Is it when the soul stirs? ... What I know, as I've said before, is that there is something extraordinarily powerful about potential life and that that has a moral weight to it that we take into consideration when we're having these debates."

Thanks for clearing that up, Barry.

Clinton said she has felt the gift of God in her life and said she makes decisions on tough moral issues such as abortion and the treatment of alleged terrorists after prayer, contemplation and study.

"I don't pretend to even believe that I know the answers to a lot of these questions," Clinton said. "I don't."

One of the toughest questions she faced was why God allows innocent people to suffer. Clinton said that has been the subject of much debate for generations, and added: "I don't know. I can't wait to ask him."

Ugh. Where's the barfbag?

The smartest woman in the world doesn't have any answers?

Can you just imagine the media reaction if GOP candidates had such a forum? Highly doubtful the press would handle it with such kid gloves.

Speaking of abortion, the Washington Post drools over the fact a couple of rare Democrats who are pro-life support Obama. Why is this a surprise? He's a Democrat. As if they would support John McCain?

As firmly as Casey (Pa.) and Roemer (Ind.) have adhered to their opposition, Obama has never supported a single measure that would curtail access to abortion -- even under controversial circumstances. But Casey and Roemer have chosen to ignore Obama's legislative record, and are promoting the Democratic presidential candidate to their antiabortion allies as someone who could achieve a new consensus on the issue.

Shocking how Democrats would sell out their positions for political expediency, isn't it?
