Antiwar Morons Superglue Themselves to Weapons Factory

Never underestimate the stupidity of these far-left kooks.
Eight anti-war protesters have superglued themselves to the entrances of a weapons factory today in opposition to the Iraq conflict on its fifth anniversary.

Their protest came as David Miliband trumpeted the war as a "remarkable victory" and George Bush made the astonishing claim that the Arab world is rising up against al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden - while bin Laden himself threatened Europe in a new audio message.

Four demonstrators used arm tubes and a further four used bicycle locks to attach themselves to the entrances of EDO MBM Defence Systems in Home Farm Road, Brighton, East Sussex, at 6.30am today.

One of the protesters, Tom Hayes, 29, said: "This is part of an ongoing campaign by us to ask people who work at the factory what has come out of five years of invasion and occupation in Iraq.

"It certainly hasn't benefited the people of Iraq, who will have been left completely traumatised by five years of conflict. It is just the oil companies and factories like this one which have really profited."
Yawn. Five years in and they're still using the same lame talking points.

Who said liberals were creative?

Braindead is more like it.

Since most of this human debris is likely on the dole and have plenty of spare time to attend protests, they obviously don't understand that some people have to work for a living. Whine to your government if you'd like, but leave people who are doing their jobs alone.
