Sharpton said the recent firestorm over Jeremiah Wright's comments in the pulpit is "grossly unfair."Um, Al? Nobody said Wright doesn't have the right to his racist views. The issue is whether a sitting U.S. Senator and candidate for President should have been supporting this racist for 20 years.
"He has a right to express his views," he said. "This is ridiculous. I think Jeremiah Wright has been totally distorted."
Conveniently, Sharpton just happens to employ one of Wright's children.
Sharpton said he's continuing to maintain his National Action Network chapter in Chicago under chapter president Jeri L. Wright, daughter of the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., the controversial minister and pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ.Interesting to see Sharpton defending racist hate speech by Rev. Wright.
You will notice that the well known race hustler Jesse Jackson has been very quiet the last fews days.
