Another Rough Night in the Atlanta Area

We had another night of rough weather in my area yesterday with some--pending verification--tornados touching down once again and this time damaging over a thousand homes, mostly in an area to the northwest of Atlanta in Cherokee County.

I found this picture taken by somebody and submitted to the AJC (Atlanta Journal Constitution), our local AP mouthpiece and liberal propaganda rag. What is striking in this picture is that it shows some buildings in downtown Atlanta that are still missing windows from the tornado that struck a month ago.

We have had these storms it seems like every week now for the last month; fortunately for me so far they have passed just to the south or north, but I have to wonder if the next round won't barrel right down my street.

It is kind of like how a forward observor adjusts artillery fire. He has them fire a round and determines if it long or short of the target, makes an adjustment and has the artillery fire another round, which he hopes is on the other side of his objective and then he cuts his adjustment in half and orders the guns to fire everything they have into the target.

Some really fantastic reader pictures of last night's show are here.
