'Blagojevich Is Worth Listening To. His Enthusiasm Is Contagious'

A fine judge of character, that Eleanor Clift.
NEWSWEEK'S Eleanor Clift is no judge of character. Three years ago, Clift hailed Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich for his "fresh" approach to health care. "With his shock of black hair and cherubic face, he is reminiscent of another eager young governor, Bill Clinton circa '92," Clift gushed on a Web-exclusive column dug up by the Media Research Center. "Blagojevich is worth listening to. His enthusiasm is contagious," she rhapsodized.
Whoops. Bet she'd like to have that one back.

What an idiot.
