Shocker: Another New Rangel Ethics Scandal

Let's put it this way. Has he ever done anything ethical? Really, you can't get and shadier or sleazier than this guy.
New ethics problems are looming for beleaguered Rep. Charles Rangel - this time over thousands of dollars of his campaign cash reportedly steered to an Internet company run by his son.

Nearly $80,000 went to Web sites run by 40-year-old Steven Rangel between 2004 and 2007 - a hefty premium for sites described as cheap-looking and shoddy, Politico.com reports.

It's all legal, but the report couldn't come at a worse time. The Ways and Means Committee chairman faces House Ethics Committee probes into his failure to pay taxes on a vacation home, his rent-stabilized apartments, and the use of his office to solicit money for a college center named after him.

Federal Election Commission filings show that Rep. Rangel's leadership PAC and congressional committee shelled out $79,560 to Edisonian Innovative Works LLC for Web sites, according to Politico.
Queen Pelosi was unavailable for comment.
