North Korea gloated over a watered-down United Nations resolution Friday that "condemned" the sinking of a South Korean warship without blaming the North for doing it.Naturally, our State Department rolled over and said it was satisfied.
North Korea's UN Ambassador Sin Son Ho hailed "our great diplomatic victory" in the action by the Security Council, where the threat of a veto by China led to the bland resolution.
The North Koreans also said they want to back to six-party talks on their nuclear program. Washington and Seoul have demanded the Communist regime first admit it sank the ship.
An investigation led by South Korea and the U.S. concluded that a North Korean mini-sub fired a torpedo last March 26 that blew the 1,200-ton corevette Cheonan in half, killing 46 South Korean sailors.
The UN resolution called for "appropriate and peaceful measures to be taken against those responsible," but also noted North Korea's claims "that it had nothing to do with the incident."
These monsters in North Korea are treated with kid gloves while the regime wages war on Arizona.
