* Israeli attacks block efforts to bring peace with justice to the Middle East, harm our nation's image and interests worldwide and strengthen voices of extremism in the region.

* The Palestinian people must be given some hope of freedom from Israeli occupation and domination.

* Israel's immoral and illegal collective punishment of the Palestinian people living in the Gaza Strip must end.

* America must support a just and comprehensive resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that takes into account the rights and responsibilities of all parties.

* American taxpayer dollars should not be used to for weapons that kill Palestinian civilians.

Funny, but not a peep from these people before Israel decided to defend themselves from nonstop terror attacks.

The SS McKinney Scuttled

Georgia's former US Representative, and aptly nicknamed cutest little communist in congress by talk radio show host Neal Boortz, has been hitting the crack pipe again and engaging in yet another act on the world stage of righteous indignation. This time she commandeered a yacht from some other lefty nutcase and along with some fellow travelers loaded up the ship and headed to Tel Aviv. Well actually, Gaza.

Cynthia has always been one to grab the spotlight, whether it was arriving five hours early to a State of the Union speech so that she could make sure she was on the aisle ready to pounce on the president and get her picture taken embracing them with all 32 of her pearly whites on display or it was jumping up front in some sort of anti-war protest.

Well, Ms McKinney, the jury is still out on that, decided it would be fun to load up this yacht with food and medical supplies and attempt to run the Israeli navy blockade of Gaza to deliver them. Trust me, they knew from the beginning that the adventure was doomed to failure, and in fact they probably could have cared less whether it succeeded or not, their whole point was to grab the attention of the media. Now they are claiming that their little vacation boat the SS Minnow was rammed by the Israeli navy. The Israeli navy claims that any damage done to the boat is the result of them trying to dodge the navy vessels. Tough choice here on who to believe, but in this case I think I will take the Israeli navy's word.

McKinney is a big anti-Semite and certainly no friend of Israel, just like her fellow former seaman Jimmy Carter. I think there was a reactor leak on the sub that Carter served on.

In a press release, the Free Gaza movement stated, “Contrary to international maritime law, the Israelis are actively preventing the Dignity from approaching Gaza or finding safe haven in either Egypt or Lebanon. Instead, the Israeli navy is demanding that the Dignity return to Cyprus — despite the fact that the ship does not carry enough fuel to do so.”

Liberals are so fascinated with self-inflicted gunshot wounds it isn't funny. They try to make their plight more sympathetic by citing the lack of fuel. Hey idiot, before embarking on this type trip do you think it might have been a good idea to plan for that eventuality? Gee, what are we going to do if we get turned around?

Stupidity should be painful. Oh, and as for the name of that boat, "Dignity", maybe you ought to change it to "Dingy."

Green Party Goes Red, Nominates Psychotic McKinney for President

Good luck foisting this anti-Semitic nutcase upon the public.

Former Georgia congresswoman Cynthia McKinney reassumed the national political stage Saturday, winning the presidential nomination of the Green Party of the United States at the party's national convention here.

Amid chants of "Paint The White House Green" and signs proclaiming, "Truth. McKinney 2008," McKinney revved up a crowd of about 350 Green Party delegates from 38 states who elected her on the first ballot.

"I am asking you to vote your conscience, vote your dreams, vote your future, vote Green," McKinney told the convention in a 30 minute speech following an address by her running mate, hip hop artist and political activist Rosa Clemente.

She was joined by her father, former Georgia representative Billy McKinney; her mother Leola, and her son Coy, on the stage in the elegant Michigan Avenue hall where the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performs,

McKinney, 53, was the odds-on favorite to win the nomination, coming into the convention with a 10-1 delegate lead over her closest rival, Jesse Johnson of West Virginia.

Since last fall, McKinney has campaigned in 30 states on the slogan "Power To The People" and a platform that calls for single-payer universal health care, the immediate withdrawal of American forces from Iraq and Afghanistan, the creation of a Department of Peace, and reparations for African-Americans.

In her address, Clemente, 36, vowed that she and McKinney would fight all "-isms and ideologies that divide us." Clemente jokingly threw down a challenge to the nation's sitting vice president: "Dick Cheney, bring it on."

Some folks apparently are unaware Dick Cheney isn't running for anything this year.

McKinney '08! Catch Psycho Fever

All I can say is please do it.

You know, I have on my kitchen table, I have a button that was printed in 2000. And it was printed by the Green Party, they were talking about me running as a Green. So I have had a very long relationship with the Green Party. And I think, honestly, with the failure of the Democratic majority in Congress to repeal the PATRIOT Act, to repeal the Secret Evidence Act, to repeal the Military Tribunals Act, to not institute immediately actions of impeachment against this illegitimate, illegal and immoral administration, stop the war, I have to seriously question my relationship with the Democratic Party. I know that the very learned listeners of WBAI have long been interested in how to have a truly independent voice. I understand now that with the current Democratic majority in Congress that's not possible. ....

So, you know, 2008 has not been ruled out, some kind of effort. Certainly now it is questionable as to whether that effort would come under the banner of the Democratic Party. There's no way that with the current crop of candidates who are all supporting a military action against Iran and who none of them support impeachment. They can not speak for me any longer.
