DNC Reaching Out to Young Voters

We were told yesterday big news was forthcoming from the DNC. Is this bland new website with a heavy Obama presence all there is? They have a link noting Obama will be making a mere five appearances this fall. Heck, he'll likely spend more time golfing and partying in the next week than he will on behalf of doomed Democrats.

Their news yesterday was announcing a new look and logo. If you ask me, it seems they've painted a nice target on themselves with the logo.

Tim Kaine supposedly will be announcing something this afternoon. If this lame new site and logo are the focus of it they're in bigger trouble than we thought. But hey, you can at least get the newborns a onesie with an Obama logo on it. Don't worry, they don't feel ashamed about their clothing until they're at least in kindergarten. As for the older set there's plenty of new swag. You too can wear the Big D target on yourself.

I have a hunch sales will be slow this fall.

Democrats Plan to Spend $50 Million Getting Their Asses Kicked This Year

Well, they're finally going to do something to help stimulate the economy. Of course as with everything they do it'll wind up being a miserable failure.

The Democratic National Committee says it will spend more than $50 million in cash and other resources on the November elections, as the party struggles to limit expected losses in congressional races and possibly gubernatorial contests too.

The planned expenditure, worked out by top White House and congressional Democrats, would mark a significant investment in a non-presidential election.

Democratic officials confirmed the plans, first reported by Politico, but said they had yet to decide how much of the contribution would be in cash versus noncash resources, such as campaign workers. Candidates cherish cash because it allows them to pay for polls and TV or radio ads.

At the end of February, the DNC had $10.7 million in cash and $3.7 million in debts.

A Democratic official said much of the effort will be based on direct field support from staff and volunteers that Organizing for America has in the states. Organizing for America, an arm of the DNC, evolved from President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign.

DNC Looks to Cash In On Biden's Idiocy

Your DNC Superdelegate Profile of the Day

Today's spotlighted super delegate is Gov Joe Manchin (D-WV).

And of course what good is it to be a DNC super delegate if you don't have a scandal to boost your credentials?

The governor has a daughter. His daughter went to college. His daughter got a Masters degree. Well sort of.

Chastised for showing "seriously flawed" judgment in awarding the governor's
daughter a master's degree she didn't earn, West Virginia University is weighing
what must be done to recover from the scandal.

President Mike Garrison said late Wednesday it's unclear whether disciplinary action should be taken against the high-ranking academic officers who ordered a change in the academic records of Heather Bresch, daughter of Gov. Joe Manchin.

How long will it be before the Dems finally shut up with their whole moral superiority mantra? Is it in the by laws of the DNC that you must have some sort of scandal to get one of those highly coveted super delegates slots? Given the track record of so many of these folks are the Dems even sure that this group of people is who they want selecting their eventual presidential candidate?

How about the rest of America? The DNC must have "Gypsy, Tramps, and Thieves" as a theme song for their convention.

Oh and the governors daughter? No need to worry she is doing just fine working for one of those evil pharmaceutical companies.

Bresch's academic record will revert to its original state. A master's degree is
not required for her job as chief operating officer of Mylan Inc., a generic
pharmaceutical company based in Pittsburgh.

Another one of those businesses and corporations the liberals rail against on a daily basis. Ain't that right, Michelle Obama?

DNC Needs to Step Up Fundraising

The DNC (Democratic National Committee) needs to step up its fund raising activities. Why? To pay for the security in Denver for their convention. Or at least that is who should have to foot the bill. Denver is trying to get other law enforcement agencies in the state to give them some additional police for the upcoming Democrat convention which everybody fears will be over run with protesters. Of course, I have no doubt they are going to try and get the taxpayers of CO or even across the country to foot the bill for this extra manpower, which is just wrong. Send the bill to the very people who encourage and support all of these protesters, the DNC.

For years the Dems have enabled and encouraged all of these various liberal/progressives to do their bidding, and when the object of their affection was the Bush administration everything was cool. Well now that they are turning their attention to the Democrats themselves. it is a Frankenstein monster that they have created that is now turning on it's creator and master and threatening to destroy them. When you cater to the likes of Kos and Huff'N'Puff readers you have to expect the results.

The Democrats convention is scheduled for August 25-28 and it ought to be an interesting time. Sorry for the citizens of Denver, and at this time it looks like the cost of hosting this thing is going to far outweigh any economic advantage they could have hoped to gain.

This is the cost of liberalism.

Delusional Dean Plans Takeover

Acting President Howard Dean reveals he's been sneaking around meeting with world leaders, though he's not naming names.

Apparently he's unaware we already have a President in place.

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean has been meeting with world leaders to repair "the extraordinary damage" that the Bush administration has done to America's image and to prepare the way for a new Democratic president.

"I am trying to build relationships with other governments in preparation for a Democratic takeover," Dean told me. "I want to make clear that there is an opposition in America and that we are ready to take power and that when we do, we are going to have much better relationships with them."

In an hour-long interview at Democratic National Committee headquarters Tuesday, Dean also revealed that he has been quietly meeting with well-known Christian evangelical leaders in order to build new bridges between them and the Democratic Party.

Hmm. Meeting with Christians? Has he cleared this with the religion-hating extremists that comprise the bulk of his party?

I wonder how well it would have gone over had Haley Barbour been sneaking around with world leaders while Bill Clinton was President?
