54 Democrat Congress Critters Who Stand in Support of the Muslim Brotherhood

The reaction in the Islamic world to the death of Usama bin Laden for the most part is exactly what one should expect from folks who get their panties in a wad over cartoons and book burnings. What should be eye opening is that we have members of our congress who stand in support of them along with members of our Homeland Security.

The Muslim Brotherhood has come out to express outrage at the killing of a mass murderer.

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, a conservative organization with links around the Islamic world, has condemned the killing of Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden by U.S. forces as an "assassination."

Or at least they have in the past.

Last month, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and her senior staff privately met in Washington, D.C., with a select group of Muslim, Arab, and Sikh organizations. Among the mix were three organizations directly associated with an outlawed terrorist entity — the Muslim Brotherhood.

Secretary Napolitano spent an hour and a half briefing them on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) counter-radicalization and anti-terrorist programs. The intensive briefings spanned two days (January 27 and 28) and were called by the DHS.

The Muslim Brotherhood has even been so bold as to demand that congress schedule a session to allow them to make their case that they are just warm fuzzy teddy bears.

Oh the 54 congress critters in the title? They are the ones who signed a letter in support of the Free Gaza organization which is a Hamas operated propaganda effort which is in turn supported by the Muslim Brotherhood.

And when they're working, they always give at least 99.72%!

“What I say to the American people is that we are, thousands of people are working 24/7, 364 days a year to keep the American people safe.”

Awesome.

Still, a little 'CYA' never hurts. So J-Nap quickly points out that she can't just "hermetically seal" the United States, and James Clapper chimes in that they "aren't going to bat 1.000, necessarily" when it comes to stopping terror attacks on U.S. soil.

Indeed. But I think I'd feel just a tad better if Homeland Security officials would categorically reject the inevitability of future casualties on U.S. soil at the hands of terrorists, and leave the fatalistic pontificating to the pundits.

Great News: Registered Sex Offender Got Census Job

So nice to see the authorities are doing proper background checks. Earlier this month we noted the case of a Census worker who raped and beat a handicapped woman, a story that received very little notice in the media. Now we discover some mutant in South Jersey used a fake name to score a Census job, but thanks to the sex offender registry a sharp-eyed woman spotted this thug.

A convicted sex offender has been arrested after using a fake name to get a job as a United States Census worker in New Jersey, police said.

Frank J. Kuni, a registered sex offender in Pennsauken, is facing several charges after he portrayed a census worker during a visit to a home on May 4.

Pennsauken resident Amy Schmalbach said Kuni knocked on her door and asked her several questions. Schmalbach thought the man looked familiar and she soon realized why.

Schmalbach said she had seen Kuni's face on New Jersey's sex-offender registry online. After making the connection, Schmalbach contacted police and Kuni was eventually taken into custody.

Yesterday, Homeland Security raided his residence. Better late than never, I guess.

Action News has learned the Department of Homeland Security issued a search warrant in connection with the case of a convicted sex offender who got a job as a Census worker in New Jersey.

Those warrants are for two locations in connection to Frank Kuni, who is being charged with using a fake Social Security number in the application he filled out in March to get the Census job.

Pennsauken Police and the Social Security Administration's Office of Investigations are also involved in the search warrant.

They are searching for laptop computers, false ID's or any documents that would be able to prove he used false identification. They have already confiscated numerous laptops and large sums of money.

This case came to light earlier this week, when Action News reported that Pennsauken resident Amy Schmalbach recognized Kuni from the NJ State Police sex offender registry.

He had come to her door as part of his job, and Schmalbach let him in because he had the proper credentials. Soon, however, she realized something wasn't right.

Schmalbach told Action News, "I looked closely at his face and I realized I recognized this man from the NJ State Police sex offender registry."

Kuni is a registered sex offender who's served time for a number of crimes including inappropriate contact with children. Kuni was convicted in 1996 of sexually assaulting one girl and having inappropriate contact with another.

"He has a laundry list of things he's done," Schmalbach said, "and he could have very well hurt me or, even worse God forbid, my son."

Kuni used one of his 16 aliases to get a job with the U.S. Census, which fired him after he failed the fingerprint and background check. But he'd already started making house visits before being let go.

Fernando Armstrong, the U.S. Census Regional Director, told Action News, "This is an isolated incident, that fortunately we were able to identify and pull the ID and terminate his appointment."

Oh yeah, an isolated incident? So how the hell was he able to work after failing a background check?

You would think for the billions being spent wasted on this Census they'd be able to spot these creeps before they're issued credentials.

How Can Homeland Security Chiefs Sleep at Night?

This story is from back in April, but it points to just how bad the illegal immigration subculture has gotten. The transportation and setting up of illegal aliens in this country has become it's own cottage industry. Funny, but I don't recall hearing this story on television or given much attention anywhere.

Six Chinese immigrants who operated employment agencies at a Chamblee Dunwoody Road site face charges of conspiring to encourage illegal immigrants to live in the United States as well as transport and harbor them for financial gain. Most of the workers are Mexican or Central American.

The raids don't seem to have made a dent, though.

Just a week after the April 11 raid in which FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 33 people, two employment agencies had reopened in the same space.

You have to read the whole story to get the full scope of just how much of a business it has now become, and apparently nobody is afraid of INS or any of our immigration laws. Stop for one minute and realize that we have one group of immigrants helping another group not only come into the country but finding them employment and transportation. The story focuses on illegals coming from Latin America, but what is to stop them from performing the same duties for a bunch of radical Islamic fanatics? These people are only in it for the money and, quite frankly, could care less about who the customers are so long as they can pay.

I don't know how anybody who is tasked with providing security for the citizens of this country can sleep at night with a clear conscience knowing stuff like this is going on.

Paco Cruz, 34, and his wife, Ana Peralta-Salinas, 32, are illegal immigrants from Oaxaca, Mexico. They say they worked for Chinese employment agencies during the past six years, including those that were raided by federal agents April 11.

These agencies are operating in the open and the article even mentions lines going out the doors and down the sidewalk.

The next time a horrific attack is perpetrated on the citizens of this country we needn't shake our heads and ask over and over how. For the people tasked with protecting the citizens of the U.S. I want to know to why. To the feckless and myopic members of Congress, I want to know why you are ignoring one the main tenets of our Constitution, that being to provide for the common defense of this country?

From A Newt One here is more news concerning the tactics being taken by congress to get their amnesty legislation pushed through one piece at a time. They have attached various forms of amnesty to a couple of different bills coming up for a vote this week. One is buried in the defense spending bill and another is in the innocent sounding enough bill requiring employee verification. (HR5515)

Hey, It Was Only 76 Border Crossings...

Story still developing, but expect justifiable widespread outrage over this one.

A Mexican national infected with a highly contagious form of tuberculosis crossed the U.S. border 76 times and took multiple domestic flights in the last year, according to Customs and Border Protection interviews and documents obtained by The Washington Times.

The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency was warned by health officials on April 16 that the frequent traveler was infected, but it took the Homeland Security officials more than six weeks to issue a May 31 alert to warn its own border inspectors, according to Homeland Security sources who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution. Homeland Security took one more week to tell its own Transportation Security Agency.

Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR) is a highly contagious illness and also resistant to the two most commonly used drugs to treat TB. It is the same dangerous strain of tuberculosis that concerned health officials when Andrew Speaker, a 31-year-old Atlanta lawyer, slipped into the U.S. from Europe via a flight to Canada.

I suspect the infected serial border crosser doesn't have any relatives working at the CDC.
