Aww: Matt Damon Hasn't Given Up on Weiner

It's all about fighting for the working class or something. Is there anything these degenerate Democrats can do that might give others pause as to whether they're really worth supporting? Will hero of the working class Matt Damon think twice if it's discovered Anthony Weiner was texting his junk to underage girls?

Anyway, Damon had planned to host a fundraiser later this month for the disgraced Weiner, but those plans are now on hold.

Oh well.
"It’s going to be postponed now because of all this," Damon told us at the Made in NY Awards at Gracie Mansion last night. But Damon hasn't given up on Weiner just yet. "Look, I really support his politics," he told us. "Anybody who fights for the working class and the middle class, I’ll help in any way I can."
Oddly enough, Weiner's also tight with Ben Affleck. Whodathunkit?
What an amazing coincidence!

When noted Democratic actor Ben Affleck wanted to research the role of a crooked congressman a couple of years ago, he knew right where to go: Rep. Anthony Weiner, a New York Democrat in the House.

This was in 2008, mind you.

And Affleck was preparing to play the role of Stephen Collins in "State of Play."

Dick Durbin to Make Hollywood Debut

Appropriately, the unctuous senior senator from Illinois will make his big screen debut in a Matt Damon film involving an air-borne virus. They should name the movie Liberalism.
Coming soon to a movie theater near you: Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), who makes his Hollywood debut on Tuesday in Chicago.

According to the Associated Press, Durbin will play himself in the film "Contagion," directed by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh. The film is about a deadly air-borne virus.

Alongside Durbin are a cast of A-list actors, including Matt Damon, Jude Law, Laurence Fishburne, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet.

Durbin will film his scene with Fishburne in a mock Senate hearing room, and the lawmaker will have one line of dialogue.

Simpleton Actor Discovers Plight of Zimbabwe Refugees

As another more intelligent actor once said, "Welcome to the party, pal!"

Here we have the brilliant Matt Damon finally waking from his far-left stupor and discovering that there's a little problem with Zimbabwe. Of course, there's not a peep about the racist Communist that has run the country into the ground. I'm sure if given enough time Damon would blame this on capitalism, George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan or Sarah Palin, in no particular order.
The Hollywood actor visited refugee centers in Musina on the South African border with Zimbabwe as part of his work with the human rights organization he started with a number of other celebrities.

An estimated 3 million Zimbabweans have fled the economic collapse and dire humanitarian conditions in their country for South Africa.

Damon said in an exclusive interview with the AP Tuesday that he was "shocked and saddened" by the plight of the people he had spoken to. He said conditions were "untenable" and called on international and regional leaders to take action.
He's clearly unaware "international and regional leaders" have been trying to do something about Zimbabwe for many years, to no avail.

But hey, let's give the imbecile credit for properly using untenable in a sentence. That's what we call progress. Maybe some day he'll find out white farmers have been driven from their land by black racists. Imagine his shock when someone teaches him about that. Maybe he'll read about it in a book some day.

Meanwhile, some idiot is so moved by Damon's sudden awareness, there's already a call on him to run for public office.

Seriously.
We always thought it would be Ben Affleck who’d run for public office…but will BFF Matt Damon beat him to it? If Florida Progressive Coalition blogger and Internet radio host Mark Weaver could wave his liberal magic wand, the answer would be yes.

Weaver argues Damon’s voice would be welcome on foreign policy, particularly in the debate over how America should handle conflicts in the Middle East. The actor is also electable, he says. “He’s smarter (Harvard) than Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger (and to my knowledge does not have a naked picture published in a body building magazine with his body all oiled up) and has been involved in numerous humanitarian civic causes,” Weaver writes.
He's smarter than Ronald Reagan.

OK.

'When One’s Logic and Intellectual Calculating Powers are Replaced With Dopey Feel-Good, Fantasy-Driven Denial, the Democratic Party Serves Them Well'

A classic quote, indeed, from none other than Ted Nugent, and there's more to it. But hey, how long can I possibly make a headline? As you might have guessed, he doesn't like Hollywood pinheads and is rather fond of Sarah Palin. He delivers a nice slap at simpleton Matt Damon and his idiotic statements last week.
Anyone who has watched Ted Nugent appear on talk shows over the years knows he can deliver a punch when he deems it necessary. In an email exchange The Vote had with Nugent this morning, the rock star starts off diplomatic.

“To be concerned is prudent, but his references are without merit,” Nugent wrote. “Her record in politics proves she is a tough woman of intellect, logic, common sense, integrity and defying courage. Theoretically, Matt’s concerns would better be aimed at and earned by Barack Obama.”

Nugent had high praise for the Republican vice presidential nominee, who - like Nugent - is an avid hunter.

“I like her a lot,” he said. “I have examined her record and she is my kind of elected official. She may very well be the best Republican in America today.”
...
Nugent, an outspoken conservative, is a minority in the entertainment community. When asked why the celebrity crowd seems to better connect with the Democratic party, Nugent becomes the Nugent you know on TV — unfiltered.

“With all due respect, many in the entertainment industry are deep into mind-altering substance abuse, and when one’s logic and intellectual calculating powers are replaced with dopey feel-good, fantasy-driven denial, the democratic party serves them well,” Nugent blasted.
Ouch.

Speaking of Hollywood celebutards, John McCain delivered his own slap at Obama and Barbra Streisand today.
"He says he's siding with the people just before he flew off for a fundraiser in Hollywood with Barbra Streisand," McCain said of his rival. "Let me tell you my friends, there's no place I'd rather be than right here with the working men and women of Ohio."

McCain used the line as his close at an airport hangar rally, drawing loud applause.

Sarah Palin 'Terrifies' Empty-Headed Actor Matt Damon

Wow, is this guy an imbecile or what? Watch as he reads the scripted cue cards some Obamaton wrote up for him.

I have but three words of advice for Damon and his ilk: Just keep talking.

I think his puppet character in Team America, World Police was smarter than the real thing.
