Clyburn: Obama's Too Busy to Bother With Debt Ceiling Negotiations, Or Something

Meanwhile, the bozo has plenty of time for fundraisers, including three tonight in New York City.

Clyburn's comments here are particularly lame. When asked by Neil Cavuto why Obama isn't more involved in the debt ceiling negotiations, Clyburn says that no, he is involved - then immediately proceeds to make excuses for why he's not involved.

Huh?

It's a little hard to make out with that bundt cake hairdo blocking the view, but that is supposed to be a picture of a Medicare patient at risk of losing her coverage if Obamacare is repealed.

Or something like that.

Nevermind that Obamacare is paid for (we're told) in part by taking $500 billion out of Medicare. So by repealing Obamacare, that $500 billion would remain in Medicare - thereby causing the sick old lady in the picture to be tossed out on the street to fend for herself!

Don't follow the logic? Don't worry, neither does Neil Cavuto. We can't all be geniuses like Sheila Jackson Lee.

Cavuto Interview With Chris Christie: 'They Misevaluated This Governor'

More harsh truth from America's Most Beloved Governor. Most illuminating near the end how the Democrats tried to roll him but he didn't take the bait. Now wonder people love this guy.

CAVUTO: This invariably leads to folks saying you side with the rich, when you…vetoed a millionaires tax actually would have affect those earning as little as $400,000. It was immediately met with you in pride that you were on the side of fat cats. The New Jersey Education Association president said: “The choice could not be more stark, tax cuts for millionaires or full school funding for New Jersey kids.”

CHRISTIE: Well, let’s be clear, the millionaires tax, as they called it, was allowed to expire by Governor Jon Corzine and the Democrats in the legislature in December of last year, before I was even governor. And what I said was, if they wanted to pass that tax, it was their choice to extend this tax. They chose not to, because they wanted to play politics. And they thought, wait, we can get a twofer here, you know. We can raise the taxes and get more money to spend, to expand our programs and we can force the governor to do something we know he doesn’t want to do and said he won’t do, which is raise taxes on anyone in New Jersey. And I said to them, you made your choice. You don’t want to take the revenue when you had a governor who would sign it, you’re not going to get it now, because raising taxes on businesses in New Jersey, which that would have done, any division within New Jersey, is not what’s going to make our private sector grow. We already have the worst tax burden of any citizens in America, when you combine all of our taxes. So raising taxes on anybody, because believe me, today, they’re going to raise taxes on those people, next year they’ll come back and raise taxes on somebody else. And then it’s going to get into your pocket. So I’m going to have stay on the line and say, no, we can do this by cutting spending and reducing the size of government. That’s what I was committed to doing. All these other things are just politics and false choices. And I think they thought that a governor like Jon Corzine, who, when they pushed, I would fall over. They misevaluated this governor.

Neil seems to take some of the comments made by the most recent darling of the Democrat party, Rep Alan Grayson, a little personal. In this wrap up of his show today he replayed comments that have been made by Grayson as well as an interview he had with the congressman earlier in the year. All of this is coming on the heels of an attempt by Griff Jenkins of Fox News, working at the behest of Bill O'Reilly, to get an interview with good congressman.

Enjoy watching Neil Cavuto rip this guy apart and send him crying like a little baby back to the friendly confines of MSNBC, whom the White House assures us isn't partisan.

This segment is for real. The guy in the background is reading the Baucus bill that came out of the Senate committee. He is the current Guinness World record holder for speed reading and the last 30 seconds are what you need to pay attention to.

His analysis is real simple. This bill will gut the current system of healthcare we have in this country and replace it with an entirely new one.

New Miss California: Marriage Is Between a Man and a Woman

Too funny. Heads are definitely popping over this, and said on Fox News to boot.

Tami Farrell, the newly crowned beauty
queen who is replacing the ousted Carrie Prejean as Miss California, apparently holds the same view as her predecessor, Carrie Prejean, that marriage should be between a man and a woman.

Fox News host Neil Cavuto asked Farrell, who is Christian, on his show today:

"[Prejean] went out and said that a marriage is between a man and a woman. Do you share that view?"

Farrell responded in the affirmative with a simple, "Uh huh."

"You do, OK," said Cavuto.

Farrell quickly added: "I don't think that I have the right or anybody has a right to tell somebody who they can or can't love. And I think that this is a civil rights issue. And I think that the right thing to do is let the voters decide."

Uh, which they did already.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement and as noted, maybe she's not reading the cue cards right. Best point of all, and one many have wondered:

“You know, I think it’s hilarious right now that the world is turning to beauty queens for the answers for this. I think it’s an important issue and I think that it’s one that I don’t think I can win a battle. I don’t want to be any more divisive than it’s already become.”

We Can't Get Enough of Miss California

As you know, we're already quite fond of the lovely Miss Prejean.

Well, she's too good to be true.

A couple of things I noticed. She starts out stressing people have the right to choose, and hasn't it been the left who's all about choice?

Second, that freak Hilton was fundamentally dishonest in his question. He claims four states have legalized gay marriage, although only Vermont has passed legislation. Judges made it the law in three other states.

When put to the ballot, again and again, gay marriage loses. Which is why Hilton and his ilk have been having a six-month temper tantrum since Prop 8 was voted down, largely by Obama voters.

If Miss Prejean is playing her hand right she'll have her own show on FNC by the summer.
