Sick: Think Progress Uses Tornado Tragedy To Castigate 'Climate Pollution Deniers'

The soulless goons at Think Progress think it's cute to promote their junk science agenda on the bodies of those killed by tornadoes Wednesday night. Even though so-called global warming, climate change, or whatever they're calling it today had nothing to do with the devastating tornado outbreak in the South, these pigs decide it's a good time to promote their twisted agenda.

The Congressional delegations of these states overwhelmingly voted (HR 910 and McConnell Amendment 183) to reject the science that polluting the climate is dangerous:

ALABAMA: All nine members of the Alabama congressional delegation voted in April to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency’s endangerment finding for greenhouse pollution.

MISSISSIPPI: Five out of six members of the Mississippi congressional delegation, including both senators, voted in April to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency’s endangerment finding for greenhouse pollution.

TENNESSEE: Nine out of 11 members of the Tennessee congressional delegation, including both senators, voted in April to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency’s endangerment finding for greenhouse pollution.

GEORGIA: 13 out of 15 members of the Georgia congressional delegation, including both senators, voted in April to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency’s endangerment finding for greenhouse pollution.

KENTUCKY: Six out of eight members of the Kentucky congressional delegation, including both senators, voted in April to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency’s endangerment finding for greenhouse pollution.

VIRGINIA: Eight out of 13 members of the Virginia congressional delegation voted in April to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency’s endangerment finding for greenhouse pollution. Sen. Jim Webb (D-VA) voted to suspend greenhouse pollution rules for two years.

Meteorologists blamed the weather, not so-called climate change.

US meteorologists warned Thursday it would be a mistake to blame climate change for a seeming increase in tornadoes in the wake of deadly storms that have ripped through the US south.

"If you look at the past 60 years of data, the number of tornadoes is increasing significantly, but it's agreed upon by the tornado community that it's not a real increase," said Grady Dixon, assistant professor of meteorology and climatology at Mississippi State University.

"It's having to do with better (weather tracking) technology, more population, the fact that the population is better educated and more aware. So we're seeing them more often," Dixon said.

But he said it would be "a terrible mistake" to relate the up-tick to climate change.

But since when has the left allowed facts to get in the way of their sick agenda?

Craig Fugate, administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), also dismissed Thursday climate change as a factor in the deadly tornadoes: "Actually what we're seeing is springtime," he said.

Our fellow Americans are digging through the rubble and mourning the dead, and the thugs at Think Progress are politicizing a tragedy. These people have no shame. They're truly evil.

Crestfallen Krugman: Where'd My Bammy Go?

The rubes are in revolt. Unhappy that their socialist dreamboat has realized he's got little shot at re-election if he continues to spend us into oblivion, the natives are getting restless. Leading this pack of pusillanimous pipsqueaks is New York Times dolt Paul Krugman, who doesn't seem to understand Americans are concerned about spending, inflation and rising prices. In Krugman's world, he figures we can just tax the evil rich to pay for everything. And now he's wondering where the Obama of 2008 has gone.

What have they done with President Obama? What happened to the inspirational figure his supporters thought they elected? Who is this bland, timid guy who doesn’t seem to stand for anything in particular?

I realize that with hostile Republicans controlling the House, there’s not much Mr. Obama can get done in the way of concrete policy. Arguably, all he has left is the bully pulpit. But he isn’t even using that — or, rather, he’s using it to reinforce his enemies’ narrative.

So much for the new tone. Two paragraph in and he's talking about hostile Republicans and enemies. This from the guy who two hours after Gabrielle Giffords was shot declared the violent rhetoric of the right was to blame.

Krugman continues with his ugliness:

And bear in mind that this was just the first of several chances for Republicans to hold the budget hostage and threaten a government shutdown; by caving in so completely on the first round, Mr. Obama set a baseline for even bigger concessions over the next few months.

So to recpa, Republicans are hostile, the enemy and are holding the budget hostage. And this toll complains about how others speak?

I’m not exaggerating. The House budget proposal that was unveiled last week — and was praised as “bold” and “serious” by all of Washington’s Very Serious People — includes savage cuts in Medicaid and other programs that help the neediest, which would among other things deprive 34 million Americans of health insurance.

Savage cuts? My, that's an awfully harsh tone. Krugman wistfully laments what's happened to the incredibly shrinking president:

What’s going on here? Despite the ferocious opposition he has faced since the day he took office, Mr. Obama is clearly still clinging to his vision of himself as a figure who can transcend America’s partisan differences. And his political strategists seem to believe that he can win re-election by positioning himself as being conciliatory and reasonable, by always being willing to compromise.

But if you ask me, I’d say that the nation wants — and more important, the nation needs — a president who believes in something, and is willing to take a stand. And that’s not what we’re seeing.

Deroy Murdock is definitely going have to up his game if he wants Chris Matthews to forget what color his skin is.

Of course, by "up his game" I mean invest in a teleprompter, become a socialist, and tenaciously advocate unpopular, foolish policies.

Liberals Trying To Force the Palin's Into Witness Protection

I came across this video, which I will not embed due to the fact that I don't think it deserves to be spread, which was a compilation of death wishes posted on Twitter against not only Sarah Palin, but her family as well. I know linking to it isn't much different from posting it, but the fewer places it is visible the less chance that unhinged people like Lougher can stumble across it. Remember the same people expressing these vile thoughts are the same ones who decry the rhetoric heard on talk radio. I wonder which gets more attention, an AM talk radio show or a posting on widely used internet service?

I would think that the Palin's could pursue some legal process against these people. I would start first by getting a list of people using whatever legal route is required and then contacting the law enforcement for the area in which these people live pushing to press charges for communicating a threat. I would make a very public showing of doing exactly that, and then any law enforcement agency that refused to cooperate I would then shame publicly. The real simple question for law enforcement is do you want to be the next sheriff Dupnik who chooses to ignore death threats against your citizens? If that did not result in legal proceedings the next step would be to confront these people at home, at work, or anywhere else with video camera in tow and get them on tape responding to my question of here I am, do you want to shoot me?

You shine a very public light on them and not allow them to hide behind screen names and they will soon crawl back under the rock they came out from, but at the same time make a very public showing of naming and shaming them.

But that is just me. The fact is all of the Palin's are going to have to take extra security measures because of the vitriol, which is exactly what the left wants. They tried to bankrupt them with frivolous lawsuits and having failed that they are now trying to force them into what basically amounts to a witness protection program. Anything to get Sarah off the national stage, and it really is getting to a point where I now fear for her children, especially in light of some high profile folks, Kathy Gifford for example, who have declared that the kids are no longer off limits. In fact in some of these 'tweets' reference is made to the children. I don't know how Todd handles it without going off. He is a better man then me is all I can say. Political considerations be damned. You threaten my spouse and my family and you had better be prepared to defend yourself. The first rule of gun safety, which was beat into my head at a young age, was never point a weapon at anything you don't intend to shoot. Using this sort of language is the same as pointing a loaded weapon at somebody and goes beyond any sort of rhetorical flourish.

The left is making it easy for me to vote for Sarah for president, if for no other reason then to get her the Secret Service protection she needs to protect herself from these self identified nuts. The other point they don't seem to get is she may have faded long ago if it wasn't for the lefts obsession with her.

Chris Matthews Asks: What Is the Cause-Effect Relationship Between Derangement and "Right-Wing Crazy Talk"?

Despite the fact that we now know quite a bit about Jared Loughner's twisted background, the nincompoops over at MSNBC continue to feign ignorance, holding out hope it would seem for some shred of evidence showing that the tea party, Sarah Palin "target" maps, and conservative talk radio made Loughner go on a murderous rampage, or something.

It is reprehensible beyond words. And yet, not surprising at all given what we know about the Left and their shamelessly dishonest cohorts in the media.

So here we have a spry and tingly Chris Matthews actually wondering out loud on national television whether deranged people like Loughner - or, you know, the people you might run into at church, in a train or bus station, or the local 7-11 - gravitate toward right-wing "crazy talk", or is it perhaps the right-wing crazy talk that turns people into psychotic murderers?

Unreal.

Pelosi Walks Back Mosque Comments ... Sort Of

You just knew after her absurd comments from yesterday were disseminated this abominable woman would rush to release a statement clarifying her remarks. Her stenographers at USA Today dutifully help her try and extract her foot from her mouth.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., wants to know who is funding the mosque at the site of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks -- and who is funding the opposition to it.

In a just-released statement, the top House Democrat walks a political tightrope on the proposed mosque, and is cryptic about whether she thinks it should be built.

"The freedom of religion is a Constitutional right," Pelosi says. "Where a place of worship is located is a local decision."

Pelosi agreed with some religious leaders who want more information on the money behind the proposed mosque -- but added that she'd also like to know more about who is underwriting the campaign to stop it.

For three months Pelosi and the Democrats have shown zero interest in who's funding the mosque and her initial foray into the controversy is to demand to know who, if anyone, if funding opposition.

While Pelosi is at it, maybe she could find out who's behind every group that has been attacking Republicans all these years. Maybe a look at the funding of MoveOn and Media Matters is in order.

We're Now Official Right-Wing Media

Just a Grunt emailed me earlier about this and I noticed it through a few scant hits on the Sitemeter, but the obsessive juiceboxers at Media Matters are monitoring our behavior again. The humorless Soros drones apparently took offense at my noticing an eerie resemblance between Obama clone Elena Kagan and former CNN reporter John Holliman. Of course others found her looking more like Chaz Bono, but I digress.

Others in this right-wing media cabal apparently include Jason Mattera, Michael Savage and Neal Boortz, so we consider it an honor to now officially be part of the dreaded right-wing media. At last we've found our lot in life, thanks in no small part to some sad clowns at Media Matters. If only their pathetic website actually had some traffic we'd have gotten more than the dozen or so visits we've received today from them.

You have to imagine some day the blithering idiots financing these clowns might realize they're not quite getting any return on their investment considering my own little website that costs nothing gets more traffic than their operation that costs millions.

Yet the Osmonds still talk lovingly about their church, saying nothing about its extremely anti-gay Crusade. Marie also has a gay daughter! Hey, I want her and all the gay kids in the world to know that they are just fine being gay and that they deserve love and respect instead of insults and rebuke! I have gay people in my family and my circle of friends and I am kicking bigot ass and taking names!

That is how its done in my religion---(I have my own religion that I made up for myself and it is a great religion that actually works and respects facts and not fantasy!)

Census Worker Killed Himself and the Credibility of Leftwing Bloggers

You'll recall the mass hysteria a couple of months ago when virtually the entire leftwing blogosphere rushed to conclusions and blamed "teabaggers" and basically anyone who opposed the Obama administration for what they immediately declared a murder.

Ooops. Would you folks like to walk that one back now?

A Kentucky Census worker found hanging from a tree with the word "fed" written on his chest killed himself and staged his death to look like a murder, authorities said Tuesday.

Kentucky State Police said Bill Sparkman died at the same location where his body was found Sept. 12 near a cemetery in a heavily wooded area of southeastern Kentucky.

A man who found the body in the Daniel Boone National Forest said the 51-year-old was bound with duct tape, gagged and had an identification badge taped to his neck.

Investigators say Sparkman acted alone in manipulating the scene to conceal the suicide.

No, it wasn't tea party activists, it wasn't some Glenn Beck viewer, it was Sparkman himself.

Don't expect to hear any apologies from the angry left, their credibility now shattered.

Actually, it wasn't just the deranged left bloggers, but the lamestream media also got in on the act.

It was a bizarre and gruesome discovery in a remote section of eastern Kentucky: Bill Sparkman, a 51-year-old teacher and part-time worker for the United States Census, was found two weeks ago hanging from a tree with the word "Fed" scrawled on his chest in felt tip pen.

A man who said he was among those who found the body told tells the Associated Press that Sparkman was naked, bound at the hands and feet with duct tape and gagged - details that have not yet been confirmed by authorities.

Jerry Weaver of Ohio told the Associated Press he was visiting a cemetery in rural Kentucky with family members on Sept. 12 when he, his wife and daughter saw the body.

"The only thing he had on was a pair of socks," Weaver said. "And they had duct-taped his hands, his wrists. He had duct tape over his eyes, and they gagged him with a red rag or something.

"He was murdered," Weaver said. "There's no doubt."

One porcine pundit called it another Glenn Beck killing. He might want to consider a retraction before calling his lawyer.

The Daily Kos blamed Michelle Bachmann (R-MN). Another kook blamed all of the above.

Michelle Malkin wonders when the smears will be retracted. Well, it won't. The left will just MoveOn to another hoax.

Our prayers are with Sparkman's family. I'd say a prayer for the left but they're beyond redemption.

We'll just perform last rites on their credibility.

George Rodham $oro$ Goon Squads Attack Limbaugh

Stinging over the condemnation of their MoveOn.org ad smearing General Petraeus, the leftwing hit squads have decided to quickly change the subject and concoct some phony nonscandals this week.

First, the George Rodham Soros-funded thugs went after Bill O'Reilly for his allegedly racist comments, and the media lapdogs ate up it.

Even more pathetic is the nonstory involving Rush Limbaugh, and they're absolutely foaming at the mouth.

Are they so stupid to think the Senate is actually going to condemn Rush for this?

Naturally, the pinhead Democrats, completely disregarding the facts, play right along with their masters, and even more ridiculous, they now have phony war hero John Kerry carrying water for them.
