Their psychotic death-cult ideology might be a good place to start. Rather they'd more prefer to blame the West for some misconception of Islam, when all one needs to do is review the daily body count from Muslim acts of terror.
But I guess it's all a feelgood exercise, and no doubt the compliant media will lap it up.
Malaysia proposes the holding of regional meetings to enable the Arab world shed the image of Muslims being associated with terrorism as portrayed by the West. Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said today Arab countries would be invited to attend these meetings. The proposal was made at the second Asia-Middle East Dialogue (AMED) held at the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt on April 5 and 6, he told reporters here. Rais said Malaysia had also proposed that the anti-terrorism training centre in Kuala Lumpur be utilised for the benefit of countries faced with the issue of terrorism, and that the proposal was well-received. "The dialogue came up with several resolutions and one was on forging cooperation in anti-terrorism activities between Asian and Arab countries," he said.Maybe peacemaker Jimmy Carter can stop by for some dialogue.
